Transitioning from one space to another offers children the chance to interact with people from other contexts, ages, and groups. Through the learning spaces, children were encouraged to explore different aspects by themselves, discover other ways to acquire new knowledge and drive their learning in a way that they find interesting As the learners were already more familiar with the learning environments, our goal with this project was in supporting them to enrich their learning experiences while moving from one space to another. When walking around the school, children are usually led by an educator, therefore, we worked on trading roles with them, in order to identify their preferences and willingness, by letting them be the protagonist of their own pathways Since we know the child's focus comes from a genuine interest in knowing more about the environment, person, or object in question When moving from one place to another there are places, materials, and relationships to be built and that's what we wanted to enhance in each child, the certainty that they could explore and learn from any context according to their interest.

A transição de um espaço para outro oferece às crianças a oportunidade de interagir com pessoas de outros contextos, idades e grupos. Através dos espaços de aprendizagem, as crianças foram encorajadas a explorar diferentes aspectos por si próprias, a descobrir outras formas de adquirir novos conhecimentos e a conduzir a sua aprendizagem de uma forma que considerassem interessante Como os estudantes já estavam mais familiarizados com os ambientes de aprendizagem, o nosso objectivo com este projecto era ajudá-los a enriquecer as suas experiências de aprendizagem enquanto se deslocavam de um espaço para outro. Quando andam pela escola, as crianças são normalmente conduzidas por um educador, por isso, trabalhámos na troca de papéis com elas, de modo a identificar as suas preferências e vontades, deixando-as ser protagonistas dos seus próprios percursos Como sabemos, o foco da criança vem de um interesse genuíno em saber mais sobre o ambiente, a pessoa ou o objeto em questão Ao deslocar-se de um lugar para outro há lugares, materiais e relações a construir e foi isso que quisemos potenciar em cada criança, a certeza de que poderia explorar e aprender em qualquer contexto de acordo com o seu interesse.

The Toddlers represent the habit of wonder and curiosity in everything they do They explore the world with their bodies and senses and, as they adapt to the school routine, we could see what aroused their curiosity. The subject of animals and how to care for these beings was a common thread present in our conversation circles. After reading our personal library book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle, a few questions and comments arose. The students were very interested in the fact that the caterpillar is in an egg at the beginning of its life cycle, as well as the fact that it transforms and can fly when it turns into a butterfly.
