JESSICA JULIAO Her interest in photography began while in an AP art class in high school. Her instructor suggested her to take a photography class which she did. Fashion and portraiture are her focus. She makes sense of life by creating a theme, an illustration and a storyboard of something she has seen or experienced. Jessica developed her skills through studies overseas in Australia as well as San Francisco and finally New York. RUPERT TAPPER After nine years as a high level advertising creative, Rupert Tapper’s interest shifted to fashion photography. Having assisted a variety of established European photographers, Rupert moved back to Australia, his talents recognized by a Sydney-based agency, his work gracing the pages of Black, Oyster, Grazia, Fallen and TheOnes2Watch. YULIA GORBACHENKO Ukranian born Yulia Gorbachenko explores sensuality, beauty and extravagance through fashion imagery. Influenced by our physical and human desire for experimentation and definition, her images exemplify youth, energy and the search for the sublime. “ Basically, my work consists of exposing a mental world. I’m assimilating reality in an expressive, elementary way. Things around me, that I see, sketch and collect during traveling, in TV, magazines, catalogs, publicity, in museums or the world of popular culture, people I meet - everything can inspire me, everything could be sketched. These quick pencil sketches with diary character are often the base for ink drawings or paintings. Just playing around is one catalyst for creativity. Little monsters and puppets, kid masks, weird worlds and fictions - sometimes kid toys are my models for paintings and ink drawings. They help me create the opposite of the ‘hortus conclusus’ by revealing a false, illusive idyll. ” - Ulrike Theusner

[SHINOFLOW] CARLOS SADNESS [March 31 - Barcelona, Spain]
SHINOFLOW presents his most recent creation: Atraes a los Relámpagos. A conceptual EP that contains 5 songs and features a guest appearance by Spanish singer BEBE on vocals. In this production, the artist offers a more experimental sound comparing it to his past recordings by using hints of folk music and incorporating his particular rapping style on top. The result is a sound that he describes as the most personal it could be, with all his influences... A sound that doesn’t necessarily has to stick to a specific genre. SHINOFLOW has managed to acquire a personal style that many would criticize for not being “rap enough” and he has always been known for not looking anything like what your “traditional rapper” would look like. Ironically, for these reasons (and because he likes to break the rules to rewrite them), he has been so succesful and now possesses such a strong fanbase and an immense amount of followers. Did you know that not only he has a great talent for composition, but he is amazing at drawing too?
