Note: Participants must supply their own mask, fins, and snorkel before the 3rd class. More information and the opportunity to purchase equipment will be available on the first day of class. Items may cost up to an additional $200-$300. A medical waiver is required prior to participation.

AQUATICS

Have you ever wanted to try SCUBA? Here’s your chance! There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to; after all, human beings weren’t designed to do that, but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is! The class will include instruction on safety, equipment selection and use, and time to experiment and play with underwater games and exploration. The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is coaxing students out when the class is over. The fun part? It’s all fun - try it for yourself and see! If you like it, you can also look at a full course like the one listed below.
