Salone del Mobile – the world’s preeminent furniture and design fair – returns to Milan from 18 - 23 April 2023.

The 61st edition will bring together over 1,900 exhibitors spread across six hubs at the Rho Fiera fairgrounds, plus countless installations throughout the city.

After a few difficult years of reflection and questioning around the future of trade fairs, this new edition will be fuelled by three significant departures from Salone’s traditional format:

• Single exhibition level that simplifies and improves accessibility

• New Euroluce layout, people focused instead of stand-centric

• Integrated cultural program at Euroluce that includes talks and workshops

Here, we share our Milan Design Week CULT Guide which gives an overview of where to find our partners, events to lock in your diary, and much more.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Ron Gilad (exhibition curator)

A new point of view on light. Ron Gilad accepted Federico Palazzari’s invitation for a conversation on lighting and functionality, paradox and perception. Out of this encounter, Enlightenment was born.

Unseen works and installations will engage visitors by awe-inspiring and stimulating interactions, completely changing the conventional idea of lighting and placing lamps, the main attractions of this divertissement, into an ironic and provocative setting.

Plus, view the latest new releases at Nemo’s iconic Milan showroom.

RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC

RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC is the international project, conceived in 2019, founded and curated by Rossana Orlandi and Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni.

The project starts from the conviction that Plastic is not guilty. Its abuse and misuse has nonetheless created one of the most pressing environmental issues plaguing the Planet Earth today. The project’s purpose is to inspire the international creative community to explore a new philosophy of design and production using innovative materials that derive from re-Waste, and to discover the infinite possibilities for its transformation. In the first two editions, the project focuses on plastic waste only, to later expand to include other kinds of materials.
