2011 Second Sunday Vending Sponsorship Proposal The College Hill Alliance actively seeks a vending sponsor for the Second Sunday concert series and is now accepting proposals for the months of September, October and November. Second Sunday Concert Series: Every second Sunday of the month in Washington Park, March – November 2011. Rain location is currently the Cox Capitol Theatre. 2011 Remaining Schedule: • September 11, 7-­‐9 pm: Second Sunday at Sunset featuring Jubee and the Morning After followed by Gringo Grange • October 9, 1-­‐3pm: Second Sunday Brunch featuring Fitzmaurice • November 13, 1-­‐3pm: Second Sunday Brunch featuring Karen Bivins and the Finese Band Vending Sponsorship Recognition: • Exclusive catering rights (food & beverage) at Second Sunday • Special thanks during concert introduction • Social media mentions • Logo on all Second Sunday marketing materials, which include posters (100 locations), e-­‐blasts (2500+ distribution) and print ads that currently include the 11th Hour alt weekly and Macon Food and Culture College Hill Alliance 1624B Coleman Ave. · Macon, GA 31207 · o: (478) 301-­‐2008 f: (478) 301-­‐2009 · collegehillmacon.com


Vending Regulations & Guidelines The vending sponsor has exclusive rights to provide catering or select a catering business to sell food and beverages at Second Sunday. The caterer must adhere to regulations and guidelines outlined below. While patrons are allowed to bring their own food and beverages, on-­site catering is one of the most popular features of the event. To continue the successful community tradition, Second Sunday’s caterer must agree to the following: I. Proper Permitting: 1) Current liquor, beer and wine licenses 2) Permit to sell alcohol on Sunday 3) Special Event Catering License for beer, wine and liquor 4) Food Service Permit from Bibb County Health Department (if preparing food on site) 5) Liability Insurance II. Boxed Brunch: 1) Boxed brunches can not exceed $5 2) Boxed brunches must be meals with at least one item and a side 3) Boxed brunches must be served in biodegradable to-­‐go containers – styrofoam or plastic is not permitted 4) In addition to the boxed brunch, other side items may be sold separately III. IV. Park Set Up / Break Down 1) Caterer provides tables, tablecloths, coolers and ice 2) No outside power requirements 3) No generators 4) Caterers provides adequate staffing (recommended staff of four) 5) Catering is set up at least 45 minutes prior to concert start 6) Catering assist with park clean-­‐up and removal of any waste accumulated during service V. Sales 1) Caterer retains all sales 2) Caterer provides proper change for patrons 3) The ability to accept credit cards is recommended
