Invitation to the Formation of Angel Investment Group College Hill Alliance is hosting the formation of an angel investment group in Macon. Angel investors provide capital for the development of business ideas and products, the startup of new companies and the growth of emerging business ventures. They also provide funding for product development, market research, business plan development, recruiting management personnel and early production. Angel investors are high income/high net worth individuals, typically with at least a $200,000 annual income or a net worth of over $1 million, who are willing to collectively assume the risks associated with financing seed stage and start-‐up businesses. The Macon angel investment group will have an open investment focus, with an emphasis on making seed financing available to entrepreneurs starting or relocating promising businesses in Macon. Please join us and our co-‐sponsors, City of Macon Economic and Community Development Department, Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, Macon-‐Bibb County Industrial Development Authority, Macon-‐Bibb County Urban Development Authority, Macon Economic Development Commission, and NewTown Macon, for a presentation by the Ariel Southeast Angel Partners. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 28, at the Cox Capitol Theatre, located at 382 Second Street in Downtown Macon. Light hors d’oeuvres and will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the approximately hour-‐long program beginning at 6 p.m. We welcome the entire community to learn how an angel investment group can benefit our city.
