Patrick Frey, Chairman and Creative Director for La Maison Pierre Frey, finds inspiration around the world – from travel, exhibitions, discussions, archives, or even the street. “We are typically French in our tradition and expertise,” Patrick Frey affirms, “but we won’t achieve anything by keeping ourselves to ourselves.” It is in his studio that a rug found on the sidewalk or a visit to a show on aboriginal art becomes the genesis for a fabric, wallpaper or carpet and rug collection. Join Patrick as he shares a glimpse of the authentic craftsmanship and artistry behind Pierre Frey’s creations in celebration of the showroom’s grand opening here at DCOTA. Covers are available in leather, cotton, linen, all of which are top quality handcrafted, sartorial products. The padding is filled with polyurethane foam wrapped by thermally bonded fiber. Feet are made of Canaletto walnut wood or stained mocha beech wood.
