FIT Development Series: Fellowship Road Map Join your Ohio-ACC FIT colleagues for our FIT Leadership Development Series. The goal of the series is to educate FITs on how to maximize your fellowship time to work towards accomplishing your career goals and to highlight the important considerations of finding a job. The series will cover important topics for FITs such as important considerations for the job search post-training (academics vs private practice, job contracts), financial planning, the path to FACC, specific requirements required by the ACC during fellowship training, and prerequisites for board exams. BACKGROUND The FIT Jeopardy competition at ACC’s Annual Scientific Session has become one of the most popular events of the meeting. To determine which team competes in the national virtual competition at ACC.21, we will participate in a virtual FIT Jeopardy competition offered by ACC. We look forward to an exciting competition! ACTION REQUESTED NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 13, 2020 The program director or program coordinator must confirm participation by entering your team HERE no later than November 13, 2020. We will be in touch to let you know if your team was among the first ten to reply! TEAM COMPOSITION A team is composed of 3 contestants. All contestants must be current CV fellowsin training at an OHIO cardiology fellowship program. One of the contestants may be an advanced fellow.
COMPETITION TIMES There will be a mock/practice round at 9:00 am ET on January 30, 2021. The virtual FIT Jeopardy competition will be at 9:00-10:30 AM ET on February 6, 2021. RULES See the rules here. QUESTIONS? Contact us at 404-303-9950 or ohioacc@gmail.com.
