Cazenovia College and SUNY Schenectady County Community College are partners in offering a Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Elementary Education Programs at SUNY Schenectady’s Center City location* Classes are conveniently offered on a part-time basis during the evening hours and in a selection of online classes. *Students are required to complete one class on the Cazenovia College campus. The course will be offered over two weekends. Housing and meal plans are available for nominal costs.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY Students with an earned associate’s degree in early childhood or childhood education or 60 transferrable college credits with required pre-requisites are eligible.

APPLICATION PROCESS: Step 1: Complete the Cazenovia College Continuing Education Application Form available at www.cazenovia.edu/ConEdApplication (no application fee) The Inclusive Elementary Education program option leads toward New York State initial teacher certification in Childhood Education, Grades 1 to 6, and in Teaching Students with Disabilities, Grades 1 to 6. The Inclusive Early Childhood Education program option leads toward New York State initial teacher certification in Early Childhood, Birth to Grade 2, and in Teaching Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2.
