JOIN US THIS FALL FOR A WEEKEND FILLED WITH FUN! Fall is the perfect time to be on campus. Homecoming & Family Fall Fest at Cazenovia College offers an opportunity for students and their families, alumni, friends, faculty and staff to enjoy a wide variety of social, cultural and athletic events. Mark your calendars!

Schedule of Events FRIDAY SEPT 27 ALL DAY

Parents, families and alumni are welcome to be a Cazenovia College student for a day. Sit in on a class, meet faculty members and learn more about the academic experience at Cazenovia College. Please notify us at Check In.

9 AM – 5 PM Enrollment Services Center Open House

Williams Hall Staff in the Enrollment Services Center will assist parents and students with information concerning financial aid, registration, records and student accounts.

10 – 12 PM & 2 – 4 PM Career Services Office Open House

Williams Hall Stop by to find out how the Career Services Office supports students as they plan, prepare for and pursue their career goals.

3 – 7 PM Check-in and Registration

Hubbard Lobby, Outside the Dining Hall Pick up your Welcome packet containing the schedule, campus/community information and a gift.

3 – 7 PM Critz Farms Ticket Sales

Hubbard Lobby, Outside Dining Hall Purchase family of four ticket package to Critz Farms, who offers music, apple and pumpkin picking, cider-making demos, a winery visit, a gift shop and more! Reservations required to include admission, apple fritters or donuts, and apple cider. Ticket package cost $10.

4:30 PM Alpha Chi Inductions (by invitation only)

Coleman Hall A/B Celebrate the induction of the newest members of Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

5:30 – 7:30 PM 20th Anniversary Reception (by invitation only) Equine Education Center Equine alumni, equestrian team members, supporters of the equine program, and special friends of the College are invited to spend the evening celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Equine Education Center and hearing the vision for the next 20 years. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, tour the Equine Education Center, visit with current equine staff and students, and enjoy remarks from the president about the future of this premier equine facility.

8 PM Cutting Edge: Dueling Pianos

Catherine Cummings Theater Dueling pianos involves two baby grand pianos, both facing each other. The piano players then put on an all request show. Whether its 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, or current, rap, country, or rock and roll. Anything you can imagine, they can perform.

Route 13 (just south of campus) (Reservations required, tickets to be purchased Friday 3-7pm and Saturday 9am-12pm at Check In Tables: Hubbard Lobby) Includes admission, apple fritters or donuts, and apple cider. Critz Farms offers music, apple and pumpkin picking, cider-making demos, a winery visit, a gift shop, and more!

10 AM – 12 PM Cyanotype Postcard Workshop

Reisman Hall 006 Learn to make your own cyanotype postcard. Hosted by the Photography Club.

The Quad (Rain Location: J.M. Chapman Student Center) • Wagon Rides: Departs every 20 minutes from Nickerson Street • Pumpkin Painting • Fall Crafts • Photo Booth

Lakeland Park Kids of all ages are invited to learn about local fish, amphibians, plants, and invertebrates. Participants should wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. There will be hands-on activities such as attempting to net fish. Fish will also be observed in a temporary “mini-pond.” www.cazenovia.edu/news-events/annualevents/bioblitz

12 – 4 PM smArt-Student Made Art

Jephson Campus A, 1st floor studios, 10 Albany Street Students will be making and selling their unique, repurposed handcrafted glass wares.

1 – 3 PM “Mini” Retirement Party

Equine Education Center For 20 years Cazenovia College’s Miniature Horses – Caleb, Ian, Ray, Don, and Winston - have served as kind ambassadors for the Equine program and our Equestrian Education Center. Please join us in celebrating their well-earned retirement with cake, carrots, and a few extra treats for the Minis and the fans who love them!

4 – 5 PM Dean’s List Reception (by invitation only)

6:30 – 8:30 PM Homecoming/Family Weekend Dinner Celebration* (Reservations required, Limited Spaces) Brae Loch Inn Join us for a buffet dinner at the historic Brae Loch Inn. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.

2019 Athletics Hall of Fame Celebration Join us for the 2019 Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

6 – 7 PM Cocktail Reception (Complimentary for all alumni and guests of the Blue & Gold Dinner) Witherill Common Room, Hubbard Hall Refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

7 – 8:30 PM Blue & Gold Dinner

(Reservations required) Morgan Room, Hubbard Hall Annual Blue & Gold Dinner followed by induction of Hall of Fame honorees.

8 PM Eric Dittelman

McDonald Lecture Hall, Eckel Hall Eric Dittelman has been reading minds at events all across the country. In 2012, he blew audiences away as the first ever mind reader on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”. Stop by for a few laughs.

Our baseball, softball, men’s and women’s lacrosse events will be held at the Schneessweiss Athletic Complex, Christakos Field, Fenner Softball Field and at Veteran’s Field on Mill Street. Catch up with fellow alumni and cheer on the participants!

Schneeweiss Athletic Complex Saturday, 10 AM – 4 PM Sunday, 12 – 4 PM Visit our state-of-the-art fitness area. Equipment includes cardiovascular machines (treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, bikes and rowers), a strength circuit and free weights.

Cazenovia Art Trail

Saturday & Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM Visit campus and local stops on the Cazenovia Art Trail and attend additional special events being held during the weekend. (Map with details included in registration packet).

Cazenovia College Art Exhibit

6 Sullivan St, Art Gallery, Reisman Hall The gallery at Reisman Hall will be hosting a show called Big Color, Earth and Sky. Featured pieces by artists Wendy Harris, Jeremy Randall and Alison Weld.

Cazenovia College Student Art Exhibit 10 Albany St, Jephson Campus A

Cazenovia College students will exhibit pieces from studio art, photography and fashion design in the Deacon Student Art Gallery located on the second floor of Jephson A.
