LEADERSHIP QUOTE "The test of character is not 'hanging in' when you expect light at the end of the tunnel, but performance of duty and persistence of example when you know no light is coming." -- ADM James B. Stockdale
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CORNER Women’s History Month In 1978 an Education Task Force of Sonoma County (CA) initiated a “Women’s History Week,” choosing the week of March 8 which coincided with International Women’s Day. The celebration was met with overwhelming support. In 1981 Congress cosponsored a resolution proclaiming “Women’s History Week.” In 1987 Congress expanded the celebration to the entire month of March.
