Welcome! In 1998, the dreams of Beaver Creek’s visionaries came true and this community became host to the first ever “ski in, ski out” performing arts center. Since that time, the Vilar Center has built an honored tradition of hosting acclaimed performances that one would expect to see at Carnegie Hall in New York or the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., but might not expect to find tucked in among ski lifts, hiking trails and golf fairways. We not only present the best world-class entertainment, but in an intimate and inviting venue designed for perfect acoustics and unobstructed views from every seat. This venue is special – it’s something those of us who have been to the Vilar Center know well – and while it’s hard to put in words, we hope the words of some of our past performers will help convince you to come experience it for yourself this winter season. We hope to see you in our hall soon. Sincerely,

“This is the

#1 house for sound and beauty…it’s

better than fabulous.”

– Art Garfunkel

“This is one of the

most beautiful theatres if not the prettiest

that we’ve ever had the chance to play in.” – Alison Krauss

“I’ve played just about every theater in the country, and the VPAC is one of, if not the

coolest venues I’ve ever played.”
