SUBSCRIBE NOW AND DON’T MISS OUT ON OUR SEASON OF FUN! The Cowan Center is coming of age…Yes, we are officially announcing our eighteenth season! We may be all grown up presenting important and entertaining world-class events to our community, but don’t forget that we’re still a teenager at heart. So, as we grow older, we will continue showing off our wild and energetic side too. No matter what our age is, we’re always ready to have lots of fun with you! And that’s exactly what’s in store for you this season! Our newest gift is from our late friend, Frances Cowan Gibson. She left the Cowan Center with a Charitable Lead Trust gift lasting 15 years for the sole purpose of bringing one or more classical music events annually. The Inaugural Frances Cowan Gibson Classical Music Event is launching this season with a performance of two world renowned artists, YUJA WANG (piano) and LEONIDAS KAVAKOS (violin). This exciting special event highlights our fall! This season’s Distinguished Lecture Series may just be one of the strongest in our 33-year lecture history – each event is sure to pack the house. The Performing Arts Series features four events, two of which are making Cowan Center debuts (KODO - the finest Japan has to offer, and PENN & TELLER - a Las Vegas standard in magic and spectacle). The Broadway Series invites you to stroll with us down memory lane and it introduces SISTER ACT to the Vaughn stage. The Braithwaite Intimate Gatherings Series is nothing but comedy this season because who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh? After comedian Wayne Brady wrapped up our last season, patrons were begging for more. We delivered! Hungry for great shows, amazing talent, and loads of fun? It’s all here at the Cowan. Don’t try to pick and choose, buy it all! We have payment plans so you don’t have to miss a thing. Let’s have some fun! Susan
