For many years, Publisher and Graphic Designer Angela Sims dreamed of creating a fun and useful magazine for the style-savvy bride. Her passion for all things wedding related prompted her to create Bliss Bridal Magazine, a useful tool for anyone seeking wedding inspiration. Along with its complementary blog full of great DIY projects and ideas, Bliss Bridal Magazine serves as a useful planner. “I am excited to use my passion for design and love for weddings to create a fun and unique publication for today’s modern bride”.

After graduating from Texas State University, Associate Publisher Katelyn Rosebrock submerged herself into the wonderful world of weddings. From having her own wedding jewelry line to being manager at The Villa at Lake Georgetown, she is constantly hearing what brides crave most. Keeping up with ever-changing trends and working alongside amazing leaders in the industry continually offers Rosebrock new ideas that are sure to enthuse brides-to-be all across Central Texas.
Production and Marketing Production and Marketing Executive De Ann Hoeft spends her time talking to wedding professionals and learning about what their companies can offer to our brides. Surrounded by the wedding industry’s absolute best, she is constantly amazed by the talent, dedication and passion our local Austin wedding professionals have for helping brides’ dreams come true. A former model, Hoeft is founder of De Ann’s Photography Studio and is currently helping to plan her daughter’s wedding.
Angela Rogers’ passion for weddings led her to join Bliss Bridal Magazine as the website and blog director. Through her work, she is able to voice her creativity and build relationships with those who make dream weddings come to life. “I am living my dream in being part of a team that puts 100% of their energy into sustaining a cutting-edge approach to keeping brides aware of the latest and greatest offered by the industry’s best!”

Chief Editor Rachel Brownlow joins Bliss Bridal Magazine with a background in writing, editing and proofreading in both freelance and publication settings including the Austin Business Journal, Austin Monthly and Georgetown View Magazine. Brownlow holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature with a minor in linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin and is founder of Your Written Word. 10 oz of ketel citron 1 cup of brown sugar 32 oz of fresh watermelon juice bunch of mint 8oz of lemon juice
RECIPES
Watermelon Cooler
Blend watermelon in a blender, add lemon juice and brown sugar, and continue to blend. Pass through a fine mesh sieve into serving vessel. Add 1/2 of picked mint and stir, add lemon wheels. Pour over ice and garnish with mint sprig and lemon wedge. Add or subtract lemon juice and sugar for taste.

Renowned for their hummingbird gardens and nearly unlimited number of spots to capture the perfect wedding photos on camera, the Hummingbird House is one of the premier venues in South Austin to host a garden wedding. The location alone — shot by Daniel C. Photography — would have been enough to impress but, combined with the chic stylistic choices and fabulous pops of peaches and lime greens, the setting was simply stunning. That evening, guests were invited to enjoy a gorgeous four-tiered wedding cake by Simon Lee Bakery, and the couple added pizzazz with their unique selection of live music: first, a three-piece mariachi band, and then an evening of dancing by local R&B band, Dysfunkshun Junkshun. Something about garden weddings gets us every time. And this long-awaited marriage between Terrance Ganaway, the 2011 running back for Baylor University, and his beautiful bride, Jenny, was no different. The couple chose a spectacular venue for their Central Texas wedding with soft, romantic hues and elegant spring arrangements to complement the bride’s gorgeous lace gown. Throughout the wedding, the couple laughed, smiled, and even engaged in a bit of lighthearted teasing. "I would take a photo of the couple, and while the bride was posing all beautifully, the groom would sneak in a few quirky faces,� said the photographer from Bliss Photography.
