WHOSOEVER DANCES

Whosoever dances has found their truest sense of joy. The phrase, ‘dance like no one is watching’ really is an expression of the unadulterated joy that God intends for you. The world knows that there is something special about being uninhibited. It is time that we find it for ourselves as well. Psalm 30: Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness. Some of my best prayer time is when I am before God simply pouring my heart out. Those times when I just let it all out…fears, anxiety, tears, etc., but that is not my only time. When I turn on my favorite gospel playlist, belt out every song, and think of God’s goodness are the times I can just enjoy God’s presence in my life. I remember it is that presence that has brought me through the days of tears. It is better than my happy place because it is not predicated on the things happening around me. It is based solely on the truth of remembering I am not defined by the things of this world. Now is the time that God has ordained for you to move past the weight of life. Take on the air of unadulterated joy because your excitement, joy, and freedom excite God. No matter what you face, you are not meant to look like what you’ve been through. You know the drunk aunt at the wedding reception who has no inhibitions. She is limitless. Stop being held back by someone else’s limits. You should no longer allow the chaos around you to tell you who you are. You deserve to trade your mourning for dancing and gladness. You were created to be great and do great things. No, there is no promise of unlimited wealth for everyone, no magic bullet to make all our problems disappear. BUT we are assured that our lives have the Creator to watch over us. It is time to shed the victim layer and dance in our victory. Whosoever dances is free!
