Name: Bobby Bushay Age: 19 Nationality: Canadian Label: None (indie) Management: 3 Entertainment My names Bobby. I love music with meaning but I feel like people dont appreciate lyrics as much as beats anymore and im hopin to change that. I write music based on shit ive been through and things ive seen people go through. Ive had to take care of myself for a long time and for the most part had noone to fall back on or talk to so music is basically my therapy. A lot of people ask me what Genre i am and i truly don't know. im just an Artist who loves making music. I may decide to sing or rap on a track, it all depends on how an instrumental hits me. I dont believe that we have to be put in a box and focus on one type of music and thats the message my movement, BlackSheep, brings to the people. I want people to not be afraid to be themselves because society doesnt accept it. Its ok to be the BlackSheep. When i say this i dont mean someone that just breaks rules for the fuck of it. I see a different meaning to that word and thats someone who isnt afraid to be themselves. So I may hear a Rock beat i'd like to work with, or an alternative indie beat, or a hip hop beat. Its all music. As long as im happy with it and it speaks to at least one person then im doing something right. My new project (EP) im workin on is titled "BlackSheep". A lot of the lyrics focus on this message cause i know how hard it can be to accept who you are. For example I know i dress a lil different from a lot of people a lot of the time but thats how i feel confortable and thats who imma be. So hopefully one day soon a larger audience will hear my message cause i believe this is something people need to hear. Thats the goal but till then its fingers crossed. imma have to take it one bar at a time.

EBMAG : WHATS GOOD STILLA While checking out your career I was inspired in what

drove you into the music

business. Tell us what lead you into doing rap in which it became a career for you? Boo Stilla: What inspired me music wise.... Just growing up always goin threw shit. Music was the only thing that took my mind off shit. People say liquor drugs sex all these things take your mind away from the bad. For me it was music. I also grew up with out no pops so I think music filled that void. So just life in general goin threw shit (lol) was my inspiration

EBMAG: When and what time in your career you got signed to a label? Boo Stilla: When did I get signed? At this moment I'm not signed I'm just doin my independent thing with the H.M.Inc movement witch stands for Hustle Mind state.

EBMAG: Wee got inside scoop on that you Boo Stilla dropped a label. What happen with that situation? Boo Stilla: Yeah my label H.M.Inc we hott right now. My people on the label wit me is Prince Jay, and Prive City the most slept on yungns in the city of Chicago. They on my mix tapes and they got shit on livemixtapes and Datpiff.

EBMAG: As a

independent artist do you find it better being in control of your business?

Boo Stilla: I love bein independent cus I don't have to answer to nobody. Hate doin the ground work but.. hey this what rappin bout right? Plus they money dont cut corners when u independent. Lol

EBMAG: How long have you been rapping for Boo Stilla? Boo Stilla: I've been rappin since I was 14-15

EBMAG:

What do you think about record labels today? And do you think there’s to many artists looking to much into getting signed then focusing on independence as being a artist? Boo Stilla: I don't dislike record labels. I look at it like this..in anything thing u do pertaining money u will always be satisfied if what u do u happen to be really good at it. So practice til your good enough to negotiate your own deals instead of signing cus your thirsty.

EBMAG: Boo Stilla: So tell us about your album STILLAMIX the album? Boo Stilla: STILLAMIX some shit I came up wit. Just a mixture of me and the different styles I got. Ima creative guy so you'll always get something different from me. 20 songs and some good features as well.

EBMAG: Besides being in EL BARRIO MAGAZINE. What other publication have you been featured in?

EBMAG: Dalila thank you for being here with us doing this interview. So we hear that you are starting to get into the modeling industry. What intrigue the most being a public figure as a model?

DALILA T: I was a Print Model for Impact Images

DALILA T: -First off, thank you so much for having me! To answer your question, there are many things that intrigued me about being a public figure. Modeling of course is one of them, but my main focus is acting. I am very passionate about becoming a main stream actress. Being a public figure has always been a dream of my mine. I definitely do not deny that I appreciate being in the spot light/center of attention lol, but its more than that. With fame comes wealth and power, and its what you do with that wealth and power that truly matters. I've always pictured myself giving back if I had the resources to. Getting involved and helping our communities in need, flying nationally and internationally to help those in desperate need. If I had the opportunity to do this by accomplishing my dreams of being a well known Actress/Model, well, it would be a phenomenal, accomplishing feeling. Other reasons of course are being able to offer the best looks possible as a model, to be able to sell the product. And giving the most superb acting performances by relating with the audience so that may express that they watched a very great film, that I was a part of. I really do enjoy acting. It's hard work, & dedication, but well worth it!!! EBMAG: Your background is Latino what makes you look unique from other Latina female models in the industry? DALILA T: Hmm, great question. I believe I have sex appeal, with a natural look. I also believe I have so much more to offer, than just good looks. I am intelligent, I act, and see my self as a business person. I really can not speak for any other model, and will not take away from what they may have to offer. I can only share what I know about myself ; ). EBMAG: You also appeared in a few music videos. Can you name a few? : DALILA T: Sure, I recently shot a video with a well know Spanish/ Bachata group, the song is called "Dame un chance". I recently starred as the Leading Lady in the "Automatically video by Belo with Do or Die. It was my first video, but a great start for me. I played an under cover agent. I had a great time playing that role!

Photography/Christopher Costoso here in Chicago. Assistant to the photograpther was Gary Blanks Photography It was a photo shoot on a boat, right on the lake in front of Navy Pier. One of the best moments of my life! LOL! My hair and makeup were done on the boat. Hair by Lynnea De Jesus, and MUA by Jay Robles. I was featured in the August 11th 2013 Fashion show with actor/ Comedian Kevin Hart/Let Me Explain Party, here in Chicago at the V-Live venue.I was featured in essence magazine for a runway show I modeled in. The Industry Standard Natural Hair & Beauty Fashion Show & Expo, I am runway modeling fashion show October 12th 2013 with the Tiara Magazine Live Out Loud Charity which focuses on prevention and awareness for suicide & bullying. I will be published and interviewed as a model in Tiara Magazine.net. EBMAG: How did it all start for you getting into acting, the music videos and featuring in publications. How did you get introduced to the business? DALILA T: I decided that it was time! I could not wait any longer. I signed up with talent agencies and took it from there! Every new project I worked on, I would just network, make contacts, and new friends. I continue to look for work, and continue to be requested for acting and modeling projects! EBMAG: Are you married or involve in a relationship at this time? DALILA T: Hmmm, another good question lol. I'm single : ) EBMAG: Besides working on your modeling career do you do anything else other than modeling on the side? DALILA T: I'm an actress. My background is in Healthcare/ Finance, but I am dedicated at this point in furthering my acting/modeling career. I am also the mother of two beautiful children! Boy & girl, i'm set! EBMAG: Now I know this might be a stupid question. But... Lol... What are your favorite dishes you like to eat? DALILA T: I loooove sea food! Steak, and Lasagna...mmmm. I am Puerto Rican, my most favorite meal is verdura con bacalao. Lobster is a must..I love sea food over all.

I also starred in a video with Shakir McCall he is the producer and singer of the song called "Voodoo". Both videos were directed by MYVISIONFILMS/J Hustle. I've been asked to be a part of various other music videos with artists such as Young Chop, King Diesal, AK of Do or Die, all great artists! I am currently communicating on possibly setting these up, i'm just still in the process of deciding what type of acting and modeling I will continue to pursue.

EBMAG: During your free time what do you do as your enjoyment and fun? DALILA T: I'm artistic, I painted since very young. Always in art programs through out elementary, high school and college. So I occasionally take the time to paint. Its relaxing. Salsa dancing is a must! Yo soy una salserrrra! I also enjoy being on the beach lounging, boat rides. I love to travel, and look forward to doing it more often. I enjoy excitement! Great America rides! Motorcycle rides! Best of all, I enjoy doing knew things. EBMAG: ¿Cuántos años Dalila ? DALILA T: I am as young as you want me to be ; ) EBMAG: ¿Es modelando muy déficil para ti? : EBMAG: What other projects you have lined up for this year? DALILA T: I just wrapped up a pilot for a soap opera with EJP Productions. I played two lead roles. One role was a Brazilian vixen, and the other, a Puerto Rican mother that has struggled since young, and is now working hard to raise her teenage daughter, a very dramatic role. The premiere is scheduled for October 25th 2013. I am part of two feature films, one is (The Origins of Wit & Humor) DimeStore Films LLP Productions, and another called (There) Fantasma Films Productions. To be released late 2013, early 2014. I was just casted as a lead for a short film. The role is a Latino mother with two children, she comes from poverty, works very hard, but is still in process of losing it all. Another very dramatic and emotional role. This is set to be filmed late October 2013. I'll be a lead in another film called Shadows of death Dash Entertainment Productions. That will begin to shoot in January 2014. I was recently shooting a scene with the And I was just requested to be the face of a cosmetic line to be released. Working on the logistics. I've booked a few more fashion shows, and look forward to many more projects!

Hey Girls! Sorry to burst your bubble but there is no such thing as a ‘Perfect Man’. The forecast for you and your partner aren’t always going to be sunny skies with a chance of meat balls ( lol if you know what I mean). However there are rules to this guide so be sure to follow. No it’s not hard , but it won’t be easy especially if this is something new for you. Don’t worry I wouldn’t dare leave you hanging. I know your probably thinking. “What does she know about relationships?” Well Girlfriend let me tell you something. I know what it’s like to be Cheated on, Played with, Lied to, and to loose someone that you’ve once loved take their own life away without knowing why. I know what’s it’s like to go through life without questions that will never be answered. So listen close and understand I’ve been where some of you are today. Now girlfriend let me come clean, No! I am not a Doctor, nor Therapist. I simply just been through this thing we call Life and I have an Amazing Mother that helps me keep it together. Tip #1 Never Go To Bed Angry This could be the Secret that many older couples follow. If something is wrong I encourage the both of you to fix it before YOU my friend end up sleeping on the couch, or much worse. Whatever the case may be talk it out until you both feel better enough to fall asleep in each other’s arms. Remember each day you have with your partner make it count. Tip#2 A Healthy Relationship Shouldn’t Break Your Pockets Low on Funds? Ladies, make you and your partner a nice dinner. Surprise him with an Action Film that’s going to have him sitting at the edge of his seat. Or even a suspense Thriller, that’s going to have him protecting you from the boogie man ;) Make your Relationship fun. Try your local coffee shops for some intellectual conversation, not a coffee drinking order a Latte instead. Make it seem like your very first date, and reminisce. Tip #3 Stressed? Try Uplifting One Another Is your partner going through hardship? It could be finances, mourning of a loved one, or even he/she can’t stand their place of employment and the stress from work is starting to take a tool on your relationship. Let your partner know that you are their Rock, that you are there for them when they need you. Let he/she know that there are better days upon them. Love your partner with every breath, especially when you see that he/she is trying to find some enjoyment in their day. Try making your partner breakfast in bed. Is your partner looking for a new job? Try helping he/she look through classifieds. Remember a couple of struggles together, prospers together. Tip#4 Don’t Be Afraid To Try New Things This goes back to Tip#2 Make Your relationship fun! At the end of the day your in that relationship! Go out to watch a movie that the two of you have never seen, try a new restaurant , indoor rock climbing, or even bowling. If there is something that the two of you never experienced I encourage you two to GO FOR IT! Just by trying something new you’ll learn things you’ve never knew about each other. If it’s always the same routine you both will get bored quick! TRUST ME! Questions Regarding Your Relationship? EBMAG: How long have you been in the music industry as a producer? DEVON.G: I've been doing music locally for about 10 yrs, but far as this that's going on know I'm a freshman.

EBMAG: According to your life style your just a average young guy that works a 95 job at the same time in your life you slowed down producing what made you get back into it? DEVON.G: I never stopped doing music I had to priorities' my life ,and that was put back a few steps.

EBMAG: Tell us what you use to produce? DEVON.G: Fruity loop, Pro tools, Mixcraft, different programs as of now, aye when I started we didn't have access to all that man we where on other at the time but I always had a musical congest for the game.

EBMAG: Share some advice to other producers the inn's and out's becoming a good producer in your own prospective? DEVON.G: Know your own style and stick to it, Read your contracts before you sign. If people want sound that sound like somebody else then they should go to that person for it. Promotion is important, and confidence and common sense about what u love and trying to pursue, priorities helps prevent failures, It should come out good.

EBMAG: Devon let's jump into the real core of your success. How does it feel being this average guy producer created a hit track that is played all over The world that is represented with Trinidad James with hit song "All Gold Everything" what was going thru your mind when you heard your track Being played and used by an A- list artist like Trinidad James? DEVON.G: Humble for the opportunity ,excited about the response, and Happy for my music to be embraced by the world because its a different style but its always been around.

3036

EBMAG: How did you come up with a track like that or what inspired you to put those Sounds together to create a banger? DEVON.G: Experiment that's all I can say it starts as a thought then I go in on that one sound that stands out to me ,but its really what the people feel that gets involved in it with me, I started by letting random people that don't no me check out tracks then the artist that helps make good tracks ,I still do that foreal. EBMAG: Have you ever meet with Trinidad James when you discovered that Trinidad James was using the track you produced? DEVON.G: Yea! He came to Jackson MS, and we linked up and talked about the tracks and how for it would go (far as "all gold everything")man just kept it business and to me that's was important. EBMAG: What other opportunities have opened up for you after this big break in your career? DEVON.G: Tracks for commercials ,being blessed to do interview with big people like you guys, and my music to a wider rage of people that's looking for something that's works with them. and affordable as well lol just try to throw a lil promo out for me. just joking man this is a great opportunity you are giving me thanks. EBMAG: Do you have a name for your production company now or it's still in the works? DEVON.G: I got few things left to get in order but its Milliondollar Empire. Just one of the many acronyms for M.E. but that's the one we stickin to big homie. EBMAG: How has this change your position in your life? DEVON.G: look, I have traveled a lot already truck driven and taking roadtrips so that part was already in my life but to get a chance to really just stop to check out the music scene in different cities is great, and important for what I doing, but what's changed is family gets to roll with me, situations are a lot better now you know that's the best part, my fam is good with all the changes because it has changed. EBMAG: Any new projects your currently working on as we speak? DEVON.G: Most def man a lot of collabs with people like me out of the blue and some known faces on tha producing side and writing has been a lane I always wanted to cross over in as well, just learning different levels of the music world to find my other outlets whatever they might be, Just trying to read the street signs on this fast road you feel me. EBMAG: As a producer what makes your music different from other producers you hear today? DEVON.G: Simplicity, content in sounds,I have been calling my tracks character music because it sound like a scene from a movie or background music it's ment to excite the character in the artist. My beats are made so that the artist fills the spaces not just the instruments doing all the work. That's my opinion on my work you dig. EBMAG: When we talk about producers who are some of your favorite producers you like to Listen to besides your self? DEVON.G: Being from the south you know the basic pioneers, but a lot ofeverything, you know to expand my mind because you can get trap in one sound of music and it can make you deaf to other forms of music, but to the point Alchamist is a great producer, Timbaland, Pharrel ,Juicy j ,KLC,ITS A LONG LIST MY BOY, LOL, but a lot of old music I always like Smokey Robinson's drum lines in his music. Willie hutch, Curtis Mayfield man so many arist ,Classical as well its like audio time travel at my spot for real. Anything that's a mood changer.

EBMAG: Devon do you have any other words you would like to add or shout outs? DEVON.G: Shot out to my barrio for real, the people that know me for real, and my love ones that know where I came from, and I'm gone say this and end mines THANKS EL BARRIO, everybody got something to say thanks for the opportunity to speak my thoughts with yall that's G.

After meeting Wynton Marsalis four years later he discovered and became passionate about jazz, first concentrating on piano and later, in his teens, focusing on alto saxophone. He attended Bromsgrove School, Worcestershire, from the age of 13 through to completing his A levels at 18. Early influences include the legendary vocalist percussionist Frank Holder. He went on to study Modern History at Hertford College, Oxford University.[3] In 2001 he also established the Soweto Kinch Trio, with bassist Michael Olatuja and drummer Troy Miller, which supported Courtney Pine at the former Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, in Birmingham, and performed at the Royal Festival Hall and Cheltenham International Jazz Festival. Kinch has won numerous accolades, including, in 2002, the Rising Star Award at the BBC Jazz Awards[4] and the White Foundation world sax competition.[5] In 2003 and 2007 he won the MOBO prize for Best Jazz Act. [6][7] Also in 2003, his debut album Conversations With The Unseen was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, but Kinch lost to grime MC Dizzee Rascal.[8] The year 2004 saw Kinch win two BBC Radio Jazz Awards: Best Instrumentalist and Best Band,[9] along with the Peter Whittingham Award for Jazz Innovation. In 2006, Kinch released his second album, A Life In The Day Of B19 - Tales Of The Tower Block, the first instalment of a two-part concept album documenting the lives of three inner-city Birmingham men. The album features narration from Moira Stuart. The second part of the album, entitled "Basement Fables", was originally intended for a March 2007 release, but has been delayed with no clear indication of a date.[10] Kinch also moonlights as a member of the Pop Idol backing band The Big Blue.

Eliza Doolittle on her New Album, Collaborating with Disclosure, and Her Background in Theater

Lola Monroe and Cardo are no longer affiliated with the Taylor Gang brand or name. Taylor Gang is having a big year. With Juicy J making the biggest debut of his career, and Ty Dolla $ign quickly generating hype, things are only moving forward for Wiz's imprint. Unfortunately, some of the artists that represent the Taylor Gang name won't be sticking around to see the growth of the brand. According to the imprint, Lola Monroe and Cardo are no longer associated with TGOD. “After years of helping build their careers, we did not feel as if the relationships were mutually beneficial,” said a Taylor Gang executive. “We wish LoLa and Cardo the best but hope they move on in their respective directions without affiliating themselves to the Taylor Gang brand or name.” Cardo played a large role in crafting the influential sound of Wiz's Kush & OJ, and Lola has appeared on Wiz's last two projects Taylor Allderdice O.N.I.F.C.. Despite their strong affiliations with Wiz and the TGOD crew, neither artist had official deals with the imprint according to label reps.

It is almost impossible not to smile when talking to Eliza Doolittle. Her voice has that open and inviting quality that makes her feel like an instant friend. The pretty English songbird was born Eliza Sophie Caird in Camden, London. Her father is a stage director and playwright, and her mother is an actress who specializes in musical theater (she won a Tony award for her part in Les Misérables). If that is not enough bohemian creativity for you, her grandmother is Sylvia Young, the founder of a London-based theater school of the same name (famous alumni include Amy Winehouse and Emma Bunton). With a pedigree like that, it is hard to imagine Eliza doing anything other than performing on a stage. As a child she had a strong interest in theater and following in her parents’ footsteps but she realized that her heart was with music and decided to pursue it wholeheartedly instead. It has been three years since Eliza’s debut album, Eliza Doolittle, and it is safe to say the hiatus has only been good for her. Her first album was pop driven and helped Eliza surge onto the British music scene where she was quickly labeled as “the new Lilly Allen.” However, this time around, the London native has three more years of life experience under her belt and it seems like she has found her true sound. Her voice is smooth and powerful as it glides over the emotional ballads that carry In Your Hands. She was relaxed as we talked about her new album, her influences and even her past relationships— a topic that not many people are willing to discuss. Pigeons & Planes spoke Eliza on the phone a few weeks before her album was released.

Manager (helps run your business and build your brand) Booking Agent (someone who engages a person or company for performances)Publicist (is a person whose job is to generate and manage publicity for a public, especially a celebrity, a business, or for a work such as a book, film, or album.Street team (is a term used in marketing to describe a group of people who 'hit the streets' promoting an event or a product)Event coordinator {commonly called a road manager} (the organizer and supervisor of a musician's tour.)Personal Assistant (a secretary or administrative assistant working exclusively for one particular person.) My words of adviceHandle your business like a business to stay in business" Every type of business has people handling different aspects of making sure that company operates at a very effective/productive level from management to secretary / assistant or staff. Let your manager run the business for you, be your liason to all the business contacts. You should be helping develop each others brand because the better your management looks the better you look for having that level of management. Your manager should be able to help keep your team focused on the planned goals and the agreed upon method of achieving those goals. The publicist would tend to the agreed upon details based on the agenda agreed to, if the artist has a personal assistant that person would be able to assist the artist making sure that the artist is aware of their daily schedule and are prepared with any items that need to be purchased in order to fully complete tasks. Management experience can also help you appeal to the businesses that you want to work with, by being aware of the things the businesses want to see. When businesses are dealing with artists there are major deciding factors before they affiliate their brand name with artists officially that management is equipped to handle and spend the time providing and processing the requirements. Publicists can assist with press kits, blogs, press releases, multimedia, social media, and a good manager will help with making sure that this occurs consistently.

A good artist must realize their only assets are their marketable sound image and consistent results. You must have all 3 to be ready until then the artist is preparing for success.Yes an artist can be well known locally or on some social media sites but without a brand that professionals can appreciate an artists value is limited to only what they can literally create.Every talent is a risk investment, this is a real business, where they want to feel like they are not in it all alone. If your only investment has been in the things you can take with you such as Music, cars, drinks, studio time, etcetera, then you haven't made enough of the investments that standout to executives and potential investors. When an artist spends on the structure of their team, the time and finance of creating a system enables them with the ability to get more done in a shorter time period. There are many things you can do yourself, but all can't be done by you at the same time with 110% perfect effectiveness there isn't enough time in a day for that. "TeamWork to make the DreamWork!"
