Ancora oggi le persone, per capire a che punto è la loro giornata alzano la testa e guardano il cielo... perchè la luce ci dice quanto tempo è passato, quanto tempo ci resta. Un gesto “antico”... visto che ormai il nostro tempo, ogni nostro momento, è scandito dai numeri delle ore, da tanti precisi orologi. L’inquinamento luminoso, l’eccesso di luce artificiali dell’oggi rischia di farci perdere questo rapporto diretto e naturale con il tempo e la luce... insieme... Di non farci più vedere, apprezzare, vivere la luce del giorno come componente importante del tempo delle nostre giornate. La luce naturale è bella e non è mai la stessa. Durante le ore del giorno varia in quantità, tonalità, direzionalità. E questi suoi cambiamenti, più o meno percettibili, sono un segno tangibile del fluire del tempo, e dei cambiamenti che questo comporta... Nell’ambiente che ci circonda, ma anche dentro di noi. Le cose cambiano quando cambia la luce. Cambiamenti che si ripetono ogni giorno ma mai uguali, sempre diversi... come le onde del mare, le nuvole in cielo, la natura che ci circonda. Dal buio alla luce e poi ancora e ancora... i momenti si succedono. Il tempo scorre e porta a nuovi cambiamenti, a nuove percezioni... ______

LIGHT

To this day, we still raise our heads and look to the sky when we want to know the time of day... because it is light that tells us how much time has passed and how much of the day remains. It’s something that dates back to ancient times, because today every second of our day is marked by so many high-precision watches and clocks. Our exposure to light pollution and too much artificial light brings the risk of losing our direct, natural relationship with time and light. We risk losing the ability to appreciate and live natural daylight as a fundamental part of our day-today life. Natural light is so beautiful because it is everchanging. During the day, it varies in quantity, brightness and direction. And these changes, some more perceptible than others, are an almost tangible sign of the flow of time and of the changes that is brings. Not only in the environment which surrounds us, but within ourselves, too. Things change as the light changes. Changes which are repeated every day but are never the same, always different, like waves in the ocean, clouds in the sky, and the natural landscape which surrounds us. From the dark and into the light, again and again, as time passes inexorably, bringing new changes, new perceptions. ______

Il lavabo integrato nel top una scelta molto attuale ma i vantaggi...? - Grande facilità di igiene e pulizia... niente bordi, niente antiestetiche fughe di giunzione. - La possibilità di seguire sempre la forma del bagno stondata o quadrata. - Eleganti nella continuità della forma e pratici perchè possono essere usati sia su basi profonde 50 cm che su basi più sottili. - Una grande scelta di materiali dal Corian al vetro alla ceramica. - La durata... in caso di danni superficiali alcuni dei materiali tipo Corian e similari con una spugnetta abrasiva possono tornare allo splendore originale.

Quindi é una scelta minimal? No, anzi... Il lavabo integrato, rispetto alle soluzioni da incasso e d’appoggio è una scelta per chi nell’ambiente bagno, non vuole evidenziare il lavabo ma piuttosto la forma e il design dell’arredo che lo contiene. Questa soluzione si integra nella forma del mobile in modo discreto e assoluto. Permette di sviluppare anche forme interessanti e complesse. ______

Il vetro come materiale per il lavabo integrato...? Oggi è molto cool/trendy non il classico vetro liscio e neutro ma una versione particolare “lavorata” grezza, materica, con la superficie mossa... simile a pietra non rifinita... Con la trasparenza poi sul piano di appoggio assume il colore del mobile o anche a contrasto a seconda della scelta... tutta la gamma colore del mobile così può essere utilizzata anche per il piano con lavabo integrato.

E rispetto agli altri materiali utilizzabili...? Beh... la trasparenza opalina che solo il vetro/ cristallo può dare aumenta quella sensazione di igiene e pulizia che il piano unico integrato già di per se comunica... Sempre la trasparenza esalta la soluzione illuminotecnica della fila di led sotto e lungo il bordo del piano, una retroilluminazione, che con la sua luce diffusa impreziosisce il piano e sottolinea il profilo netto dei bordi, come per la specchiera. ______

Glass as a material for the built-in washbasin? Toda’s “cool” is no longer the classic smooth, neutral glass, but rather a specially-finished version, pleasing to the touch and with a slightly textured surface reminiscent of unfinished stone... Given the transparency of the glass, when placed on the top it takes on the colour of the cabinet or a contrasting colour - it’s up to you... the entire colour range for the cabinet can be used for the top with built-in basin.

But compared with the other materials that we could have used? The opal translucency which only glass or plate glass can give only increase the sensation of hygiene and cleanliness that the single-piece built-in top in itself gives. L’illuminazione sul retrobordo dello specchio, diffusa, disegna il netto profilo lineare. La lampada invece può essere posizionata a piacere su qualunque parte della superficie.
