Shay Beasly SHAYS FRUIT BOUQUETS SHAYSFRUITBOUQUETS WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS? I was in college and I saw my mom make a fruit bouquet for her coworker. I was like this is nice. A year later after I graduated from University of Houston, I asked my mom to make a fruit bouquet for my first job. I was hired as an hourly lecturer at a school in the Aldine district. I put the fruit w bouquet in the teacher’s lounge a week before Mother’s Day. Everyone was so surprised and wanted to order. I posted it on my social media and got around 25 orders in one week for Mother’s Day. I knew then, I was on to something.1 HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS? Since 2016 around Mother’s Day IF YOU COULD OFFER SOME ADVICE TO A NEW ENTRPRENEUR, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Innovation is key, overcome the fear, never give up, word of mouth is powerful, therefore provide the best customer service you can but always stay true to your self, brand, and worth.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR SHAY'S FRUIT BOUQUETS? In 2020 I resigned from education and started to pursue my business full time. My next step is to get a storefront and take Shay’s Fruit Bouquets across Houston. I also wanna leave a legacy for my son and my future grandkids.

My motivation for starting my business was my own personal journey with my skin health issues that left me searching for and ultimately crafting my own products. After the effectiveness of using natural products I knew at that moment we had to bring the products to the masses, people needed to experience better ingredients and products that won't harm but improve and elevate their skin health.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS? We have been in business as SKYN Delights LLC since June 2020 but have been crafting and researching the benefits of All Natural Ingredients for 3 years. WHAT'S NEXT FOR SKYN DELIGHTS? What's next for SKYN Delights? Continuing to build our brand and customer base and eventually a small quaint storefront where customers can come in and experience the SKYN Delights difference.
IF YOU COULD OFFER ADVICE TO A NEW ENTREPRENEUR, WHAT WOULD IT BE? My advice to new entrepreneurs would be to be patient, persistent, and consistent. Never stop learning and Growing. Be knowledgeable of your business whether it be products or services.
