Dr David Stewart, author of Healing Oils of the Bible and The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple has completed his first Australian tour. Spanning Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Mackay, Dr Stewart covered Australia’s east coast in a whirlwind four days and was met with an outstanding reception at each venue. Record crowds of eager Young Living members greeted Dr Stewart, ready to learn more about essential oils. Dr Stewart taught basic chemistry to attendants with a focus on the three elements to study for essential oils. The benefits of therapeutic-grade essential oils are endless and each batch is completely unique. Essential oils come directly from nature and are everchanging. Different crops yield different results—that is why some batches of oil smell slightly different from others. Factors such as the seasons, rainfall, sunlight, soil, and time of harvest each
play a role in the overall production of oil. This variation makes it difficult for bacteria to become resistant. Essential oils mentioned in the Bible were of focus later in the evening. For thousands of years throughout history, people have used essential oils for spiritual and healing purposes. The Bible contains numerous references to the use of essential oils, including frankincense, myrrh, cinnamon, and cassia. Essential oils were often used for anointing and Dr Stewart gave an example of this, anointing a member of the crowd. Overall, Dr Stewart’s first tour of Australia was well received. His presentations have inspired many members of the Young Living family and given them more proof on the power and efficacy of Young Living’s therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Welcome to the March Young Living’s Essential News newsletter. I would like to start by saying that it was great seeing the turn-out for Dr David Stewart’s meeting at all the cities we visited in February. We are working hard this year to be able to continue to bring international guest speakers to Australia. Our next guest speaker, Marc Schreuder, will be touring Australia in April. We are planning to visit a few other cities we didn’t get a chance to visit with Dr Stewart, so more of you have the chance to be exposed to the educational opportunities we will be providing this year.
Our new and improved website is soon to be launched. Over the next four to six weeks, both the old and new website will exist side by side. During this time, I welcome your feedback about the new look website. There is a section on the website where you can leave your comments, and we will endeavour to ensure we review all the feedback and make any necessary changes as required.
Later on in March, we will be hosting the Next Generation meeting in the Gold Coast hinterland where we have selected those of you who have shown the potential to become our future Young Living leaders. It takes a lot of hard work, commitment, and passion to succeed, and we want to recognise you for your efforts. We will use this time to identify areas
