• To hide or show variable columns in the Data View tab: In the Variable View tab, click the checkbox next to the variable name. This might be useful for simulating the effects of changes in parameters on various economic outcomes. For example, in the Poverty module you can model the effect of income transfers on some population groups on the basis of poverty and inequality. 1. In the Datasets tab in the main window, click the dataset that you want to modify. 2. Click the Variables | [dataset label] tab. 3. Right-click in the table, then click Add or replace variable... in the pop-up menu.
