Chapter 5: Getting Started with ADePT

Perform each step in the ADePT main window: 1. Click Add... button to load dataset(s). Enter dataset year in Label column.

2. Map dataset variables to input variables by selecting dataset variables in drop-down lists.

3. Select tables and/or graphs to be included in report.

4. Click Generate button.

The next sections in this chapter provide detailed instructions for the four steps.

Specify Datasets Your first task in performing an analysis is to specify one or more datasets. ADePT can process data in Stata速 (.dta), SPSS速 (.sav), and tab delimited text (.txt) formats.
