EN ISO 388 / Protective Gloves against Mechanical Risks EN 388 standard must be applied to all kind of protection gloves with the aim of protecting against mechanical and physical risks caused by abrasion, blade cut, tear, penetration and vertical cut. It is not applied to anti-vibration gloves. Each glove is engraved with standardÂ´s name and pictogram as well as its level of protection. This level is determined by four or five figures. Professional safety footwear can be explained as the one that is used to develop a work activity and protects user against occupational hazard.
