Furthermore, the proceeds that are generated through the Festival are donated to charities, ALIVE! and USO Metro Washington - Baltimore. Of particular note is the tenacity of the Organizing Committee, who endured three postponements last year and early this year, due to COYID. Despite that, they still gallantly held on to their vision of doing are on display today. Bravo to you! Congratulations to all those involved. and to the organizers for arranging this splendid and unique event that is certain to bring widespread attention to our community today and for many years to come. Support for Local Businesses The Old Town Festival of Speed & Style brings thousands of car and fashion enthusiasts to the heart of Old Town to enjoy a day of rare and exotic cars, presentations of style and fashion, live music, and more. Event participants and visitors also have the opportunity to take advantage of all that makes Alexandria and Old Town so unique, and importantly, support the local restaurants, boutiques, and merchants that make our hometown so special. Support for Local Non-Profits In addition, the proceeds from the festival will be donated to two local charities – ALIVE! and the Campagna Center -- to help support the great work that they do. Alexandria-based ALIVE! is dedicated to fighting poverty and hunger and the Campagna Center equips children and families with a comprehensive set of tools they need to thrive and succeed. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL The Third Annual Old Town Festival of Speed & Style, presented by Burke & Herbert Bank, is a spectacular, high-sensory event held on the unique lower blocks of King Street in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Featuring nearly 100 rare and exotic supercars and motorcycles from around the world – combined with dazzling and glamorous fashion elements and events – the Festival celebrates the heart and spirit of the community and highlights the elegance and style of Old Town. The Festival Organizing Committee thanks you for being here and enjoying the day with us. In addition to viewing amazing cars and motorcycles up close – and observing the unique Fashion Demonstration being held at noon – you are encouraged to visit the local restaurants, shops, galleries, businesses, and outlets located on and around King Street where superb food, abundant libation, souvenirs, and other retail items can be found. The Old Town Festival of Speed & Style is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chartered to donate funds to two charitable organizations This year they are: • ALIVE!, the largest private safety net for the needy in Alexandria (www.alive-inc.org) • The Campagna Center, a leading children's organization caring for more than 1,700 children daily (www.campagnacenter.org)

Below are the charities that were selected for the 2022 Festival. ALIVE! is the oldest and largest private safety net in the City of Alexandria, VA dedicated to alleviating poverty and hunger. An interfaith nonprofit founded in 1969, ALIVE! is supported by 47 member congregations, the City of Alexandria, local organizations and businesses, and volunteers. ALIVE! serves thousands each month by providing food, financial help, shelter, eviction prevention, housewares, furniture, and early education.
