BECOME A MEMBER. JOIN US TODAY! THE USSA IS THE ONLY ASSOCIATION IN THE UNITED STATES DEDICATED TO PROMOTING AND PROTECTING THE LARGE YACHT MARKET.

THE USSA AND ITS MISSION PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING THE U.S. SUPERYACHT INDUSTRY AND ITS MEMBERS WORLDWIDE THROUGH ADVOCACY, MARKETING & EDUCATION. WHAT IS THE U.S. SUPERYACHT ASSOCIATION (USSA)? The U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA) is a non-profit trade association whose newly amended mission is to “Promote and support the U.S. Superyacht industry and its members worldwide through advocacy, marketing and education.” The USSA is made up of a variety of businesses across the United States and around the world that represent thousands of jobs and a tremendous economic impact on our economy.

WHY JOIN THE USSA? 1. ADVOCACY: Together we DO make a difference. We need YOUR voice. The USSA employs a lobbyist in Washington DC, but it is through the strength of our Membership that we are able to make our voices heard and affect positive change for our industry. 2. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Educational and interactional programs designed for personal and business growth are held at the regional and national levels. 3. NETWORKING: We all know that in life it is not what you know…but who you know that makes the difference. Strengthen your ties and interact with peers in the superyacht industry at regional and national events. 4. MARKETING: Get your company noticed through print, web and social media portals. The Come Sea U.S. Campaign works to bring more of the global superyachts to visit the U.S. and our members.

WHAT ARE THE USSA OBJECTIVES? • To promote members’ products and services through global representation and networking • To advance the superyacht industry in the U.S. • To serve as a coordinated advocate on major issues affecting the industry

HOW DID THE USSA GET STARTED? The USSA was formed in 2006 in direct response to the lack of a unified voice in the United States for the unique needs of the large yacht segment of the marine industry. Over the years, the 12 charter members have worked to grow the USSA to represent the superyacht industry in more than 23 states and 19 foreign countries.

WHO CAN JOIN THE USSA? • BUSINESS MEMBERSHIPS: (voting) are

They are entitled to all the rights and privileges of Regular Membership, except that they shall not have the right to vote or hold office on the board of directors. BECOME A MEMBER OF THE USSA. The USSA is of tremendous value to me, enabling me to meet more members of our industry and to strengthen the relationships I already enjoy. Equally important, the USSA serves as a respected voice in Washington on behalf of the industry as well as yacht owners and their crew, beating the drum on key issues that might ordinarily go unnoticed. I’ve seen this influence first-hand, able to add my own voice, and that of my readers, to the chorus, too. Diane Byrne, Megayacht News
