LOUISE Gaskill
Louise Gaskill is internationally known for her handmade glass lighting fixtures. Working out of her Raleigh studio, Gaskill skillfully manipulates exquisite midcentury glass and pairs it with gilded vintage components to make custom, oneof-a-kind pieces for designers and clients alike.
Gaskill created the chandelier for designer Anjel Herman’s living room, pictured here. “For this piece, I was inspired by Anjel’s love of pink and her feminine yet elegantly designed home,” explains Gaskill. “She requested Murano glass, and this pink was the perfect color. With the artwork she incorporated in similar tones, this chandelier really is a showstopper in the room.”
