The University of Lethbridge is located in traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. Our University’s Blackfoot name is Iniskim, meaning Sacred Buffalo Stone. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community. In the spirit of reconciliation and in respect for being on traditional Blackfoot lands, the Dhillon School of Business includes Blackfoot words and translations used to describe our core values.
