International Programs
The world is your campus! The Faculty of Management’s International Programs offer you a wide range of international opportunities to enhance your studies. You can go on full-semester exchanges, short-term summer exchanges, work-study programs and study tours. You’ll develop a broader global perspective, gain academic credit abroad, and grow both personally and professionally.
BUDDY PROGRAM Whether you go on exchange or not, you can share in the global experience as a Buddy when we connect you with an incoming International Exchange student. Not only will you help an exchange student; you’ll learn about their culture and country and begin to network internationally without leaving Lethbridge.

WORK-STUDY Take advantage of our six-week Work-Study programs in Malaysia or India, where you will experience intriguing cultures, improve your cross-cultural management skills, and broaden your understanding of regional business practices. INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT MAJOR Become a true global learner. International Management majors become culturally aware, gain the necessary skillset to succeed in international environments, and learn how to manage change and cultural diversity within the workplace. With at least one exchange and your four-course foreign language minor, you’ll be able to effectively communicate, work and network internationally. Graduates have a strong foundation for careers in business, trade, government, non-governmental organizations and tourism.
I offer this advice if you are ever planning on travelling abroad, maybe even to Malaysia specifically: come with an open mind and really submerge yourself in the culture, in as many aspects as you feel comfortable. It is through this that you will gain your knowledge and learn through someone else’s perspective.” Courtney Rottier 2006 Malaysia Work-Study Program
