How to Apply for Admission

Applying to uLethbridge is as easy as one, two, three...

To apply to uLethbridge, students must create an ApplyAlberta account before completing their uLethbridge application. Applicants can access the application from our website ulethbridge.ca/future-student as well as at applyalberta.ca.

High school applicants:

Published Grade 11 grades will be used to determine conditional admission to uLethbridge. Final Grade 12 grades will be reviewed and must meet admission requirements prior to the appropriate document deadlines.

Include valid credit card information for payment of the application fee.

Student Application Fee

The application fee for admission to an undergraduate program is $140. Subsequent applications for admission are no cost.

Conditional Admission

Conditional admission decisions are made on the basis of published Grade 11 grades (high school applicants), transcripts and/or mid-term mark statements (for courses in progress) received by the Admission decision document deadline. Applicants offered conditional admission must meet or exceed the admission standards of their program by the final document deadline.

Official Documents

Through ApplyAlberta, applicants authorize uLethbridge to request transcripts on their behalf from Alberta Education and/or participating post-secondary institutions in Alberta. Applicants attending institutions not participating in ApplyAlberta or any educational institution out-of-province must arrange to have official transcripts sent directly to Admissions. Applicants currently studying at institutions not participating in ApplyAlberta or any educational institution out-of-province are strongly advised to arrange, at the time of application, for the submission of interim transcripts if required final transcripts are not yet available. Final, official transcripts must be submitted on or before the final document deadline Visit applyalberta.ca for more information.

Education Combined Degrees

Applicants may not apply directly into the Faculty of Education from high school. Interested applicants should initially apply to a pre-Bachelor of Education Combined Degrees program (pre-BA/BEd, pre-BSc/BEd, pre-BFA/BEd, pre-BMus/BEd, pre-BMgt/BEd).
