Cottonwood Farms

Erie, Colorado

Boulder, Colorado

Anderson Farms is home to Colorado’s longest running corn maze and pumpkin patch Anderson’s Fall Festival is probably best known for its thirty-acre corn maze, but there is something here for everyone. Take a tractorpulled hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Watch the Pumpkin Launcher shoot pumpkins up to a quarter of a mile. Keep the kids busy with pedalkarts, a barrel train ride, face painting, or let them pet and feed the animals. Visit the Farm store for apple butter, home decorations, toys, and other novelties. Scare yourself silly at Terror in the Corn, a night-time haunted hayride through the corn maze to a deserted ghost town. Anderson Farms Fall Festival runs daily from September 24 – October 31, 2011. For the latest hours, pricing, and directions, see the farm website.

Even if you only have an hour to spare, you can enjoy everything Cottonwood Farms has to offer. Stop in to see the farm animals and vintage farm equipment, try the hay and corn mazes, and purchase fall decorations such as pumpkins, gourds, hay bales and corn stock bundles. Be sure your camera is fully charged because there are great photo opportunities everywhere you look. Admission is free. Weekend hayrides are $3 a person. Cottonwood Farms is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. September 24 – October 31, 2011. They are located at the corner of 75th and Arapahoe. See the website for more information.
