Back on the Field AlphaTrack’s First Alumni Missions Trip

From November 13-19, 2015, AlphaTrack sent its first Alumni missions trip to Iloilo, Philippines. Together, the AlphaTrack alumni worked alongside current Trackers (Batch 45) for a powerful time of ministry. Eugene Cheng (Batch 38) reflects on his experience back on the AlphaTrack missions field.

2012 was the year I entered the AlphaTrack program. If you ask around Trinity, you will know that AlphaTrack missions trips are unlike any other. Given the magnitude of the ministry/evangelistic events, preparations are especially demanding and times of ministry can be high-stress situations. Regardless, all of the hard work pays off. Through the trip, I saw how God could use me as long as I was willing to avail myself to His work. Three years have passed since my AlphaTrack days. I missed the

encounters I had with God during that season and longed for another opportunity to partner with Him on the missions field. Then, during the BIG Alpha Track Reunion, Pastor Dominic announced the AlphaTrack Alumni inaugural missions trip. Something in my heart stirred and I immediately sought the Lord about going.
