Chuan Cheng is a story about Lim Beh Song, a man so devoted to his career that his family life suffered. After realizing the temporal nature of his work, and experiencing a personal encounter with God, Lim discovers what truly matters in life and sets out to mend the strained family relationships, especially with his son who has followed in his workaholic footsteps.

From writing the script, to designing the promotional material, acting, stage design/setup, and logistics, every part of the 1½ hour musical drama was faithfully organized, managed, and carried out by various members of the Chinese Ministry. “When I saw how short the script was, I was shocked. I thought to myself, ‘Wow! Being able to convey God’s word with such a short script is a really difficult task,’” shared Zhu Hou Ren. “However, I knew that

as long as we are willing to serve, people will hear God’s Word.” After the drama, Pastor Christina Onn continued the theme of legacy with a short message about God’s promises for us and for our generations. Indeed, we serve a God who will reveal His love and promises “For Generations to Come.”

Acting alongside MediaCorp artists, Zhu Hou Ren and Zhou Dai Lan, were two of Chinese Ministry’s own laypeople, Chen Junhong and Tham Supei. Chuan Cheng also brought
