become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Just as the children trust their earthly fathers, we also should trust our Heavenly Father. Ronald: The simple sermons help me understand God’s Word and fan the flame to read the Bible. Worshipping with the children also reminds me to have child-like faith. When I see children encountering God and hungering for Him, that encourages me to press in and focus on Him in my daily life.

Ronald: Wow, only one memorable event? At the last camp, Immerse, we focused on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Many children responded to the altar call. It was amazing and faith-building when I saw and heard different ones start to speak in tongues! God’s presence was so close and intimate that I started tearing. It was like being in our Heavenly Daddy’s arms and being filled with His love and comfort.

fulfillment from serving the children. Some children may be shy or challenging, but your brothers and sisters in Christ serving alongside you will help and guide you along the way.

Lastly, what would you say to someone who is thinking of serving the children?

Ronald: Come and be challenged to grow in patience and love. You may feel awkward at first, but be open and interact with them. You’ll find yourself loving these children and looking forward to your next serving opportunity.

Kenneth: Just come and serve! As long as you are willing to let God use you, God will give you a sense of

Melissa: All you need to do is to love the children. Do not undermine what you can do. The little care acts of love you sow into the children’s lives will be etched into their hearts.

Can you tell us one memorable event that has happened in ministry? Melissa: I remember a moment when one of our children asked whether I remembered him. I tried very hard to recall but before I could answer, he said, “You let me sit on your leg in Nursery when I was very small!” I am happy to see how he has grown and moved on to Pre-Teens.
