What’s New Tech 4 Kids Introduces New Collectibles and Storytime Innovations

N

itro Grinders, from Tech 4 Kids, are collectibles on wheels that never fall over and perform tricks at kids’ fingertips. Designed for kids ages 6 and up, these characters will jump, twist, spin, and ride through any customizable mini skate park. Nitro Grinders feature detailed graphics and more than 50 characters to collect in the first series. Squishy Pops are miniature My Little Pony collectibles that kids can wear as stylish fashion pieces. Kids ages 4 and up can customize Squishy Pops bracelets by adding charms and mini ponies that complement kids’ looks and personalities. When a Squishy Pop pony is squeezed, it makes a “pop” sound. With 36 pieces to collect, Squishy Pops come in Fashion Packs or a mystery pony in a surprise capsule. With Storytime Theater, kids can see and hear their favorite storybook characters come to life. The Storytime projector connects wirelessly to any smart device. Kids can choose a Digital Story Key and place it on the projector to activate the story. As the key softly glows, the story projects on a wall with custom animation for every page. Storytime Theater has four modes: Read-ANitro Grinders Loud, Storyteller, Bedtime Mode, and Custom.

WowWee Revs Up Robotics

W

owWee will introduce REV (Robotic Enhanced Vehicles), which are app-enabled and built for battle. Equipped with BeaconSense technology, a proprietary indoor GPS system that enables them to sense their surroundings and navigate accordingly, REVs can think and fight for themselves. REVs are hardwired to outwit, outplay, and outlast their human opponents. REV require no special surface or mat to play on, and a limitless number of people can enter into the game. Designed for players ages 8 and up, each REV Starter Kit comes with two specially equipped vehicles. A player can download the free app and jump into the driver’s seat of one vehicle, while setting the second vehicle to Autonomous Mode. There are multiple game modes, such as Chase, Evade, and Capture the Flag. WowWee’s MiPosaur is a robotic creature with evolving intelligence and personality. Designed for kids ages 8 and up, It can sense its own surroundings and environment and interact with them in a lifelike way. Featuring GestureSense technology that allows kids to control MiPosaur with a swipe of the hand, it also features a sturdy mobile inverted pendulum balance and comes with an interactive TrackBall with BeaconSense technology. MiPosaur can chase the trackball, play with it, and guard it, and will alter its moods depending on various interactions. MiPosaur is fully interactive with the MiP robot, and an app will feature more games.
