The Jester Pops Up in Schylling’s New Line

CHYLLING TOYS offers a new take on The Jester, made famous by the classic Jack in the Box.
The character now has its own preschool toy line, which includes a kaleidoscope, an activity dress-up Jester, a Jester humming top, and a High Wire Rider. Schylling will also add to two of its wooden toy lines, including the Fisher-Price Classics line, which expands with the 1973 Movie Viewer and the 1968 Vintage Little Snoopy Wobbling Pull-Along. New to the Brio range are Brio Minis, including the Bumblebee, the Ant, and the Caterpillar. All three are made for tiny hands. The Brio Wooden Railway will expand with a new rollercoaster set, new trains, track accessories, and a My First Brio Railway for train enthusiasts as young as 18 months. The StyleModel line also expands with new design sets for aspiring fashionistas. StylePrincess offers coloring activities, while Horses Dreams features spiral-bound coloring and sticker books.

Bachmann Chuffs Along with Thomas

LTD.’s new Carnegie Collection Velociraptor figure measures 8 by 3.5 inches and features a 1:10 scale. Designed for kids ages 3 and up, this Cretaceous period predator is safe and educational. The 1:1-scale Shrimp figure from Safari Ltd.’s Incredible Creatures line gives kids the chance to look at a deep-sea shrimp without needing a boat. New products will also explore the mythical realm of quick-witted gnomes and strong dragons. Green Gnome, from the company’s Mythical Realms line, is a 2.5- by 2.25-inch figure recommended for kids ages 3 and up. Kids can create their own stories with these magical creatures capable of outwitting unfriendly foes. His analog sound system includes a whistle, puffs, and steam exhaust upon stopping. The ready-to-run electric train set comes with a 36-inch circle of snap-fit E-Z Track. Also included are Troublesome Trucks Nos. 1 and 2 with international-style hook and loop couplers, as well as a power pack and a speed controller.
