Dolls & Plush Wicked Cool Signs On for Cabbage Patch Kids

icked Cool Toys has entered a licensing agreement with Original Appalachian Artworks Inc. as the master toymaker for its Cabbage Patch Kids brand, created by Xavier Roberts. The line will allow kids to embrace and create lifelong memories along with parents and avid collectors who have known the brand for more than 30 years. Wicked Cool Toys’ Cabbage Patch Kid toy line will hit massmarket retailers throughout the U.S. beginning this fall.
DEMDACO Provides Giggles and Hugs

iggaloos, from DEMDACO, are 7-inch plush that make giggling sounds when kids spin them. Once the spinning stops, the Giggaloos produce a sigh or an exhausted sound. Kids can watch as these interactive plush wiggle and giggle. There are 12 styles available in the line. Hugzies are 14-inch plush that hug kids from every angle. These super soft characters feature elongated arms and weighted paws for the perfect hug. Hugzies are available in 12 different styles.

Spin Master Brings Little Charmers Out from the Small Screen

ittle Charmers is a new girls’ preschool line, from Spin Master, based on the TV series of the same name. The line features 8-inch character dolls Hazel, Lavender, and Posie. Each is dressed in a charming outfit and iconic headband, and comes with brushable long hair. The Hazel Doll with Her Magic Disappearing Cape is an 11-inch Hazel doll that comes with an outfit, a hat, and a special cape, which disappears with the push of a button. She says six different phrases, such as, “Hi! My name is Hazel!,” and features two magical effects. Spin Master’s plush line based on the video game Minecraft continues to grow. The Minecraft Medium Plush Assortment contains soft, accurate representations of common enemies such as the Creeper, the zombie, the undead skeleton, and the Enderman. The Minecraft Large Iron Golem Plush has pixilated embroidered detail and soft plush material. Chubby Puppies can waddle or hop, depending on how their feet are positioned. They each have oversized ears and a wiggling tongue, just like an actual puppy. Each one comes with its own favorite toy or treat that fits inside its mouth. Intended for kids age 4 and up, Chubby Puppies come in 12 different breeds. The Ultimate Dog Park is a play set built for Chubby Puppies. Its features include a puppy-powered elevator, a tumbling slide, a series of bone-shaped doors, and a tire swing.
