What’s New Darice’s LockerLookz Expands to RoomLookz his fall, LockerLookz Ltd. will expand beyond lockers to bedroom décor RoomLookz with RoomLookz. The first wave of products will include Peel & Stick Wallpaper to decorate any surface—not just walls. Styles include Pink Quatrefoil, Aqua Dot, and Black Swirl. Magnetic accessories will include the Magnetic Dry Erase Wallboard to jot down information and then wipe it away. The 14- by 14-inch wallboard comes in pink, aqua, or white. Flower Magnets and Gem Magnets add color and come in multiple colors, while the Magnetic Storage Bin can be used to tidy up a room in glam style. Each bin is tied with a white grosgrain ribbon topped by a round gem centerpiece, and styles include Pink Dot or Pink Lace, Aqua Swirl or Aqua Poppy, and more. The LED Tabletop Lamp will come in styles such as Pink Quatrefoil, Aqua Dot, or Black and White Swirl—each featuring a grosgrain ribbon at the base. Standing 12 inches tall, it also has a motion sensor and is battery operated. The initial RoomLookz line will also feature a 10-inch-tall Candy Dispenser, which includes a screw-on-and-lock glass globe. LockerLookz will also introduce new locker wallpapers, rugs, bins, frames, and white boards.

Discovery Shows Off Lines for Animal Planet and More

iscovery Consumer Products offers new toys, books, and more through its various licensees, including the new Glow Art Drawing Board, from NKOK. The Bridge Direct will expand its Good Stuff line with Discovery Kids View-Master Reel Packs, featuring Age of Dinosaurs, Safari Adventures, and Marine Life reels. Each reel pack comes with three reels containing 3-D images and fun facts. Parragon will debut Discovery Kids-inspired coloring books; factivity books, sticker books; fact books; and books focusing on dinosaurs, sharks, space, and more; while the Animal Planet toy line continues to grow within the ocean, land, and dinosaur categories, as well as new themes. Smart Play has a new line of kids’ educational toys that introduces kids to the world of animals. The line includes 3-D flashcards and puzzles, puzzle cubes, alphabet floor puzzles, a lighted click-and-see toy projector, and an electronic learning pad. MasterPieces Puzzle Co. will offer family-friendly puzzles and craft kits depicting Animal Planet and Shark Week themes. SCS Direct Inc. has Animal Planet Hatch ’Em Eggs with safari, rainforest, dinosaur, and ocean-themed animals. When placed in water, they can grow up to 10 times their original size, and each egg comes with a collectible card with fun facts about the animal. Based on the TV series, new Gold Rush products for this year include deluxe, basic, and mini-panning kits, authentic Gold Rush Pay Dirt, and Pay Dirt Vial refills.
