What’s New TÜV Rheinland Tests for Safety

ÜV Rheinland offers testing and certification services for toys and other children’s products, accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation and approved by the Consumer Products Safety Commission. The laboratory provides mechanical and chemical testing and uses HDXRF technology, allowing for the accurate analysis for lead and other heavy metals, often without damage to the product. The laboratory tests to a number of national and international standards, including Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), product life cycle, and green compliance.
