Sakar Adds New Tablets and Features to XO and Camelio Lines

akar will introduce new versions of its XO Tablet, which is designed and developed by One Laptop per Child. The XO Tablet comes preloaded with hundreds of apps, games, and e-books. The XO Tablet line is designed for kids ages 3 to 12, but functions as a full Android tablet so parents can enjoy it as well. The new XO2 features the same 7-inch design and functionality of the original tablet, but with added features such as Bluetooth capability and a faster quad core processor. The XO Large features a 10-inch multi-capacitive screen and Bluetooth capability. Bonus content and additional Dream categories will be available on this tablet. Each Dream is supported with numerous apps, games, and e-books. Both new XO Tablets run on the Android Kit-Kat operating system. Sakar will also introduce new XO Tablet accessories, including a digital microscope, a digital telescope, and a wireless Bluetooth keyboard. The digital microscope and telescope are designed to work alongside several of the preloaded Sakar’s XO Tablet apps, including those within the Scientist, Doctor, and Astronaut Dream categories. The Bluetooth keyboard pairs wirelessly with the XO Tablet and features a sleek, kid-friendly design. Sakar will also add several new technologies for its Camelio tablet this year, including Camelio ClassMates, Camelio Chat, and Camelio Beaming. Camelio ClassMates is a group video communication platform idea for cooperative learning. It fosters teamwork in the classroom and at home with friends. ClassMates works with any Camelio Dual Core device connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Teachers, coaches, and parents can control all voice communications and up to six participants can view the content simultaneously. Camelio users can transmit content from the tablet screen to the TV wirelessly through Camelio Beaming. The Camelio controls the TV screen and users can share images, videos, and more. Accessed through the themed contacts app, Camelio Chat features customized chat backgrounds and connectivity (accessed through the Internet) to chat with up to three contacts at the same time.
