ndias most loved singer Lata Mangeshkar, who had once moved Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to tears, passed away on 6th February. She was known as the nations Melody Queen, left everyone teary eyed. She died at 92. She had tested positive for the Coronavirus with mild symptoms on 8th January and she was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The popular singer was admitted to the ICU of Breach Candy hospital, where she was being treated by Dr.
Pratit Samdani and his team of doctors. She was showing improvement until last week but her health deteriorated and she was put back on ventilator support. She was also being treated for pneumonia. She recovered from COVID-19 and pneumonia on 30th January. But on 6th February morning she breathed her last. She started her career at the age of 13 in 1942 and had sung over 30,000 songs in several Indian languages in over seven decade-long career.

inger-composer Bappi Lahiri passed away at a Mumbai hospital on 15th February. Lahiri was 69. As per the doctor report, he had tested positive for Covid-19 in April last year, after which he was confined to full bed rest. A wheelchair with a lift was also installed at the singer Juhu residence for easy mobility and convenience. He was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area, where he breathed his last. He was known for delivering popular songs in several movies of the late 1970s-80s like Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, and Sharaabi. His last Bollywood song titled Bhankas was

Brahmaji, Prince, Narra Srinu and others perform well in comical

Sricharan Pakala‘ music created a lasting impression but S Thaman’s background score are the main assets. Pataudi Pilla and DJ Tillu songs are good to hear. Cinematography is pleasing to the eyes. The visuals of the movie DJ Tillu are fantastic. Siddhu starrer DJ Tillu has a
breezy first half and rib-tickling moments. Navin Nooli’s editing is ok.

Overall DJ Tillu is a good comedy drama and the main assets of the film is Siddhu Jonnalagadda’ s characterization and performance.

The story of Khiladi is interesting. The special mention should go to the action sequences which have been composed well. Devi Sri Prasad’ music is decent but his background score is very impressive. The dialogues are noteworthy. The Camerawork is just ok. The production values are good. Coming to the director Ramesh Varma, he has done a good job and especially with Ravi Teja’s character. Editing is fine. Coming to the work of director Ramesh Varma, he has done a disappointing job with this drama. He narrated the film well in the first half and ran out of the ideas in the second. There is no seriousness in his narration.
Analysis:
Overall Khiladi is good mass masala entertainer drama. Plus points of the film are Ravi Teja’s characterization and action episodes. Khiladi is filled with such loose ends and fails have a grip on the proceedings.
