Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan attended the trailer and audio launch of Ponniyin Selvan Part 1, starring Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan, Sobhita Dhulipala among others. Ponniyin Selvan is a period drama, which is directed by Mani Ratnam and is produced by the filmmaker and Allirajah Subaskaran under the Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions banners, respectively.
