inspired by... I’m inspired when travelling in outback Australia where all the noise of life gets turned off and your thoughts are so mu ch more pure and uninterrupted. I always com e back with a great list of what to do next and a clear sense of direction. I am comple tely moved by the work of the late Rosalie Ga scoigne and her ability to express artwork tha t is so totally Australian in its content, colour , materiality and scale. As well as being inspired by my peers including artists and makers wh o are well ahead of me in terms of their ran ges and brand awareness, I admire art ist collaboration Rowena Martinich and Geoffr ey Curran www.martinich.com.au for the ir energetic style, scale of work and use of bright colour. I am also a great fan of Little Da ndelion www.littledandelion.com/blog/ and the work of chunky knitter Jacqui Fink.
