Nathaniel "Nate" Brown is a 6'3" lucky lefty shooting guard, born on November 13, 2002, in the city of Flint, MI. From a toddler, it was obvious to his parents that he was going to love sports. Basketball in particular. One of his first words was ball and he even learned how to walk holding a ball in his hand. By the age of 4, Nate was consumed by the game. It was all he wanted to do. He became a ball boy for the 2007 and 2008 National Championship Mott Community College Men's Basketball teams. He also began playing organized basketball for the Flint Young Bears under the coaching of Tony Pappadakis and later on his uncle the late Migeal Swain and Kevin Rice. Nate began his high school career at Redford Union High School in Redford, MI, a suburb of Detroit, and became the first freshman to make Varsity and the starting lineup in over 10 years. After his sophomore season, Nate led the team in scoring (19.8 pts/game) and assists (5.7 assists/game) and earned team MVP and All-Conference 1st team honors. After his sophomore year, Nate and

moved back to his hometown and enrolled in Grand Blanc High school. Instantly he became a defensive weapon and one of the goto guys for scoring. His contributions help Grand Blanc capture the Saginaw Valley-South championship and Saginaw Valley Conference title and 2nd team AllConference honors for Nate. Nate is currently attending Davison High School where he will finish the remainder of his high school career. In his debut game with Davison, he finished with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. He finished the season averaging 23.4 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. He also was selected to the Saginaw Valley-South and Saginaw Valley Overall AllConference 1st Teams. Nathaniel is still going through the recruitment process and has not yet committed to a college or university. He definitely has plans to continue both his academic and basketball career at the collegiate level and would like to major in Communications. Making the pros is his ultimate goal, however, Nate also has dreams to be an NBA and NCAA men's basketball broadcaster and commentator.
