2018 Parade of Homes On behalf of the Building Association of South Central Indiana, I am pleased to introduce the lineup for the 2018 Parade of Homes. In partnership with the Herald-Times, this informative guide to the Parade details the builders, subcontractors, suppliers, floor plans, photos and directions for each home in the Parade. The guide is made possible by the generous sponsors and advertisers that help make the annual Parade of Homes a reality for our community. The Parade of Homes offers an excellent opportunity to view the craftsmanship of our local builders and contractors in person. With the variety of styles, locations, price points and amenities, this year’s Parade of Homes is one of the largest in several years. Whether you prefer traditional or contemporary, urban or rural, you are sure to walk away with ideas for your current or future home. Parade tickets are available at several convenient locations around town: Curry Auto on the east side, The Vacuum Center on Pete Ellis Drive, The Herald Times on South Walnut, CarpetsPlus Colortile on Liberty Drive, Bailey & Weiler Design/Build next to Upland Brewery at 11th & Rogers, Loren Wood Builders, Bender Lumber in Ellettsville, and all German American Bank locations. Features: Entire home remodel, including master bathroom with phenomenal views, a heated tile floor, curb-less shower and custom mirrors. Original Red Oak joists were left intact in the house and complimented by an entirely redone staircase and rail system. The carpets on the dining level were removed and replaced with engineered 7 inch pre-finished oak. We raised grade and added a breezeway and two car garage. The exterior of the home was also overhauled with new channel rustic cedar, concrete board siding, and standing seam roofs. This home also is equipped with an elevator.
