With two years already as HC Resident Seat on DTLA Neighborhood Council, I believe I should be re-elected as your representative. My unique perspective, appreciation for the community & dedication to outreach to all members of our area, I am ready to continue my work on area beautification, uniting small business owners & resident outreach. Being in DTLA for 15+ years, I have a deep understanding of the issues that most affect our city. As a resident and small business owner, as well as the daughter of an immigrant mother (who suffers from mental illness and was unhoused), I have empathy balanced by rational voting. It's taken a couple of years to learn things this past term & this term around, as your representative, I will continue my outreach to residents & small biz owners to help the community. Through mywork experience, expertise & commitment to public service, I hope to leverage my connections & relationships to help green spaces & give a voice to my neighbors.

I have a deep knowledge and understanding of the issues facing our community, from homelessness & affordable housing, to public safety and transportation, as well as protecting our environment and preserving and creating affordable spaces for arts and culture. I believe strongly in active engagement between elected officials and the people we serve, which is why I pledge to be an accessible leader who will always listen to your ideas and feedback. I am committed to reaching out and connecting with neighborhood organizations and connecting to them on relevant projects and initiatives.
