How do you capture the vibrant and spectacular lights present in your works? The key to capturing the colors that you see in my photographs is simply being in the right place at the right time. There are no short cuts and you have to put long hours in to get results. In my experience if you visit the same location at sunrise every morning for a week, you will most likely experience only one colorful sunrise, any more than that and you are extremely lucky. The peak of any colorful sunrise will most likely only last for a couple

of minutes (sometimes even seconds). To ensure you don’t miss this brief window of opportunity, I highly advise arriving on location well before the sunrise. Once there, setup your gear and the waiting game begins. High motivation and eternal patience is required to capture the best possible light. At some locations I have been known to wait for up to 6 hours just to capture the right conditions.
