ROBYN TICHAUER Robyn was raised in a church-going family with three older brothers. It was only as a young adult that she truly grasped the beauty and meaning of having a relationship with God. As life goes, Robyn experienced some trauma and when she decided to take the healing journey with God, her eyes opened and she hasn’t been the same since. “I’ve been broken and I’ve experienced God’s love and I want that for other people!” Robyn has a self-professed monkey obsession (borderline addiction) and owns 23 monkey teddy bears (gasp!). Her passions include cooking and being out in nature. NICOLE TAH-NEE PITT Nicole spent much of her childhood between two homes – in East London and Cape Town. After completing high school, she made the permanent move to Cape Town where she completed her Masters in Research Psychology. Recently married (yay) Nicole is thriving as a young wife and is passionate about issues related to mental health and wellness. “I believe we need to take care of our ‘temple’ on all levels – physical, mental and spiritual.” Nicole enjoys an active healthy lifestyle but can never say no to chocolate. She also admits to having more pairs of high heels than anyone she knows! HEIN VAN DER MERWE Hein was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Cape Town where he continues to live and teach kids at a special needs school. He is currently completing his honours in Educational Management. “Being a nature lover, I frequently find myself running, hiking and exploring various hiking routes in the Western Cape.” Hein also recently ventured abroad and you can see his travel pics on page 30! Hein loves to sing, even though he may not know the lyrics of songs. He admits that it is probably not in tune, but ‘as yet I haven’t noticed that myself!’ LOREN LEE LANGENHOVEN As an only girl with five brothers, raised by a single mom, Loren can honestly say that wearing her brothers’ ‘hand-me-downs’ was a blessing in disguise. Today she is living her dream as a stylist and she enjoys mixing and matching old with new and teaching people ways to style whatever they have to best suit their personalities. Loren launched her business ‘StyleByLoren’ in 2014. “I am extremely passionate about people, styling and entrepreneurship.” Behind the scenes, Loren is a self-proclaimed entertainer and loves acting the fool to have a good laugh, whether it’s alone or with friends.
