NORTH AMERICAN POOLSHOOTERS ASSOCIATION We are introducing a new pool league called the North American Poolshooters Association, founded in 2009.
We offer a National Ranking system at napaleagues.com where you can look up your Ratings as well as complete Game History up-to-date within 48 hours of your match finishing. NAPA has 3-4-5 player formats in 8ball, 9ball, and 10ball. The league offers Double Play of 2 of any of the Game Formats. We offer a Laggers Choice Format as well. In this format who ever wins the Lag has the choice to break or game of 8, 9 or 10 ball. In this Laggers Choice format if you are a national Qualifier with at least 5 matches in the game of your choice, in a calendar year, you choose your Game at Nationals. Nationals will be held in Nashville Tennessee, June 24-July 1. If you win your Playoff in any division, you qualify for Nationals. You can qualify for singles nationals held on a team by qualifying as team captains with no less than 3 forfeits in a session or if you are Top Point Scoring Player on your Team. Top Point Scoring Player in each Division gets a bonus and the Top Breaker, and Break n Runner get a bonus as well. NAPA has a national singles format Tournament for 6 different rating groups. Master Class 90+ Class A 70-89 Class B 50-69 Class C 30-49 Class D 10-29 Class E 0-9 APA, BCA, TAPS conversion to NAPA rating for 8 ball and 9 ball: 2s or lower 30, 3s are 40, 4s, are 50, 5s, are 60, 6s are 70, 7s are 80, 8s+ 90. The Eagles Club 326 9-Ball Singles Tournament was held in Bozeman, MT Saturday, January 21, 2012. The event was a race to seven in both the winners’ and losers’ bracket, with a race to nine for the finals. Mike Schaff and Seth King split the money for first and second place. Third place went to Nate Neergaard and fourth place went to B.J. Goodwin. The Eagles would like to thank the following sponsors for their continued support: Rocky Mountain Gaming, Cardinal Distributing, Bronkens Distributing, and the Eagles Club. Without your contributions these tournaments would not be successful. There are two upcoming tournaments scheduled for the next month. The first is the Sweetheart Doubles Tournament slated for Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Eagles Club in Bozeman starting at 10:00 AM. The entry fee is $20 per team and $200 will be added. The second is the annual Women’s State Doubles tournament, open to all Montana players. The entry fee is $20 per team and $600 will be added with a full field. Scheduled for February 25-26, this is a two day double elimination tournament. Last year we had 46 teams participate, so make sure you register early.
