Poêm bowls A little collection of handcrafted bowls, some in silver 925/000 and others in fine silver 999/000. These bowls have various sizes and heights. The diameter goes up to 45 cm and some will reach to a height of 40 cm. Hammering these bowls starting from a flat sheet of silver takes many hours of hard work. After every round of hammering we need to anneal the work to make sure the silver will soften again. After the bowl has taken it’s shape, we will hand cut a text in the rim of the bowl. Sometimes we use very old texts, sometimes we get inspired by todays circumstances. The last step in the process is to give this object a hand brushed texture in curved patterns.
