FREEZE & EASY The freezer is your best friend come Christmas – for the Big Day and for when friends and family decide to drop by. Simply defrost your food or whack it straight in the oven if it’s something that can be cooked from frozen. Look for the ‘Suitable for freezing’ icon on the products in this brochure, particularly in the desserts section, and stock up.

FEEDING A CROWD Not sure how many nibbles to serve when you have a few people coming over? Aim for around six different bites for each person if you’re not serving a main meal, or three each if you’re doing more than one course.

PREP AHEAD Take the stress out of hosting by prepping as much as possible. Make any dishes you can freeze in the weeks leading up to the Big Day (gravy, mince pies) ready to just be cooked through – and also make sure to prep all your veggie side dishes and lay the table the day before. Or even better, ask guests to bring the side dishes with them – then they can take away the dishes afterwards, meaning less washing up!
