Schollmaier Arena will open this coming season. Facility improvements in the past year also include construction beginning on $7.5 million in upgrades at the Charles and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field. The project, scheduled to be completed in time for the 2016 season, will include a new Horned Frogs locker room, alumni locker room, classroom, team lounge, sports medicine center, equipment room and coaches’ offices. A new video board will also be in place for next season. After last year’s opening of the $2.5 million G. Malcolm Louden Player Development Center for Baseball, more than $10 million has been made in facility improvements over the last two seasons for our student-athletes on the diamond. Thanks to the Estate of Agnes Talley, the Robert and Maria Lowdon Track and Field Complex saw the addition of new bleachers and a press box. The Frog Club and our facility enhancements help provide the tools necessary for our student-athletes to be successful. Their achievements on the playing fields and courts were mirrored in the classroom. In Spring 2015, TCU student-athletes posted their highest grade-point average over the last five years. Ninety-four student-athletes earned degrees in 2014-15, while football topped the Big 12 in Graduation Success Rate and Federal Graduation Rate. Equestrian’s Alexi Child and swimming and diving’s Joseph Stegeman were selected to receive the 2014-15 Dr. Prentice Gautt Postgraduate Scholarship. Stegeman recorded the highest Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) score in TCU history. The two-highest MCAT scores recorded at TCU are now both from student-athletes. Women’s swimmer Sara Brzozowski was named a recipient of the Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, the Big 12‘s top academic honor. Equestrian’s Katelyn Gray was recognized as the Big 12 Equestrian ScholarAthlete of the Year, the third straight Horned Frog to receive the honor. Fear The Frog! What a year for TCU Athletics in 2014-15! We saw Big 12 championships in football and baseball, a Final Four appearance for men’s tennis and a national championship with track and field’s Ronnie Baker in the indoor 60 meters. Our men’s 4x100 outdoor relay team was second in the nation. With baseball, football, men’s golf, rifle and men’s indoor track and field, we had five sports finish in the top 10 nationally. Overall, 12 sports advanced to the postseason. It was a memorable New Year’s Eve in Atlanta with football’s 42-3 win over Ole Miss in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. We became the only school in the nation in 2014-15 to play in a New Year’s Six bowl and reach the College World Series. In fact, we’re one of just seven baseball programs in the country to make at least three CWS appearances in the last six years. Our student-athletes and coaches were again recognized nationally for their efforts. Twenty-seven Horned Frogs were named All-Americans while nine received Academic All-America honors. Football’s Trevone Boykin won the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award and finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting. He was the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. We also had a pair of national coach of the year recipients in Gary Patterson (football) and David Roditi (men’s tennis). Coach Patterson totaled 10 national coach of the year honors in 2014. Your investment in TCU, and especially our student-athletes, made this possible. On behalf of Chancellor Victor Boschini and the TCU Board of Trustees, we can’t thank you enough for your support. For the third straight year, and just the third time ever, we covered our annual scholarship bill through donations to The Frog Club. A TCU-record $12.1 million was raised in scholarship contributions. It was part of an impressive $39.2 million in cash giving for the 2015 fiscal year. Your passion for TCU has never been more evident. We’ve sold a TCUrecord 34,060 football season tickets for the 2015 campaign. The three largest crowds in our baseball program’s history came in the three games of our Super Regional series versus Texas A&M. We ranked No. 1 in the nation for private schools and No. 8 overall in season attendance. Men’s tennis was the nation’s leader for a third consecutive year, drawing nearly 4,000 fans for its final two home matches – victories over Texas A&M and Texas. Soccer topped the Big 12 in attendance for the third straight season, representing each year we’ve been in the conference. Volleyball sold out four matches while having a 34 percent increase in season tickets sold. The momentum you’ve created is now helping us usher in a new era for our basketball programs. The TCU Men’s Basketball program was ranked No. 25 in the AP Top 25 prior to the start of conference play after beginning the year 13-0, marking the first time since 1998-99 the program had been ranked. When it was all said and done, the Frogs were one of only six teams in the nation to start the year 13-0, joining the likes of national champion Duke, Final Four participant Kentucky, Virginia, Villanova and Colorado State.

TCU Baseball hosted the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals for the second straight season, as the Horned Frogs defeated Texas A&M, 5-4, in the 16th inning to advance to their second straight College World Series and third in program history.

EXCELLENCE in ACADEMICS FALL 2014 The TCU Women’s Golf team had the highest team GPA in the fall of 2015 with a mark of 3.65. 19 – Consecutive semesters in which the departmental GPA was above a 2.8 216 – The number of student-athletes named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. TCU Women’s Tennis junior Caroline Wegner spends time volunteering with many children at a USTA Community Event held at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The team, along with the men’s tennis program, also volunteered its time this past year by going to play tennis at Cook Children’s Hospital with the patients.

For a second straight year, the TCU Equestrian program was honored with the prestigious Hal Jay Community Spirit Award at the end of the year TCU Athletics Banquet. The squad went above and beyond within the community of Fort Worth and surrounding areas this past season as it visited numerous hospitals, elementary schools, humane societies and hosted toy drives during the holiday season.

Throughout the school year, the men’s basketball program visited local high schools, including the Irma Marsh Middle School Pep Rally to help with its Reading Rewards Program. Head Coach Trent Johnson was also a key part in TCU’s community outreach, giving each free-throw contest winner a $1,000 dollar check at TCU’s Season-Opening Tip-Off event.

TCU Volleyball started a new era on December 29, 2014, when it announced the hiring of former student-athlete and Horned Frogs record-holder Jill Kramer as Director of Volleyball and the third head coach in the history of the program. Kramer, the first scholarship volleyball student-athlete in the history of TCU who still holds the school records in kills, kills per set and total attacks, was charged to lead the indoor volleyball team as head coach and oversee the direction of TCU’s newest program and the NCAA’s 90th championship sport – beach volleyball.

Erik Peterson

Erik Peterson was tabbed to lead the newest Horned Frogs program of TCU Beach Volleyball on January 26, 2015, by TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer. Peterson led TCU into its inaugural season in the spring of 2015, where the Frogs completed the season in a 10-day span and faced off against seven ranked opponents, including the top four teams in the nation. A native of Hawaii, Peterson came to TCU after being heavily involved with USA Beach Volleyball since 2007. Peterson served stints as a head coach for the Boys USA A2 U19 squads, as well as serving as head coach of the UCF Beach Volleyball program from 2009-12 and volleyball director at the Orlando Volleyball Academy from 2007-09.

Fiscal Year 2015 set a new benchmark for athletics fundraising at TCU. For the third time in our history and the third year in a row, the TCU Frog Club covered the entire student-athlete scholarship cost of $11.51 million. This brought the overall total to more than $39 million in cash giving for TCU Athletics.

TCU Coody & Coaches Classic

Many successful donor events were hosted by the Frog Club this past year, which included the TCU Coody & Coaches Classic, The Horned Frog Classic, the Gary Patterson Luncheon Series, the National Signing Day Reception and Friday Night Under the Lights. All of the events were wellattended and remained some of the most popular outings for Frog Club members.

The fourth and final phase of the Amon G. Carter Stadium Legacy Brick Program is complete and more than 1200 bricks will be installed before the 2015 football season. Throughout the project, more than 6,000 bricks were added to the east side plaza and generated $602,500 or the equivalent of 11 full scholarships from the Frog Club. A total of 926 students joined the Student Frog Club in FY 2015. In just its third year of existence, the Student Frog Club has grown to one of the largest student organizations on campus and is responsible for more than $33,000 in scholarship revenue. The Student Frog Club is used to determine student ticket allocation for premium road and postseason events. This past year it was used to determine priority for the football game vs. Baylor and for the second year in a row, the College World Series. The TCU Frog Club Membership Team volunteered more than 400 hours of its time to support the staff at multiple home events, Freshmen Orientation and to raise awareness of the TCU Frog Club and its mission. The TCU Frog Club and TCU Athletics Ticket Office continued their ongoing relationship with Ballena Online 3D Technology for the football seating and parking renewal, and upgrade process. The virtual stadium and parking maps give our fans a state-of-the-art opportunity to personally select their seats and/or parking space according to their ranking within the Horned Frogs Priority Point System.

Donor Dinner In its second year, the Donor Rewards Program continued to offer members unique access to TCU Athletics. Highlights from this past year include the Frog Club Road Trip to the Baylor football game and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, the annual tailgate party on the west side plaza of Amon G. Carter Stadium prior to the Kansas State game and the donor dinner held at the home of Suzanne & Kevin Levy.

We set the bar in Lettermen giving back to their 2012-13 University in our year-long Lettermen’s Heritage 2011-12 2010-11 Campaign to help raise funds for the new Ed and Rae 2009-10 Schollmaier Arena. More than 170 Letterwinners from 2008-09 all sports, genders and decades, raised more than $1.38 2007-08 million during the Campaign and more than $12 million 2006-07 overall. TCU Lettermen’s Association successfully launched 2003-04 the first-ever “Week of Service” event in April. Across 2002-03 the nation, Letterwinners performed acts of service in their 2001-02 respective communities. Letterwinners spanning 2000-01 six decades, representing more than 80 cities in 12 states performed close to 900 hours of community service.

Six of TCU’s finest athletes were inducted in last year’s TCU Lettermens Hall of Fame Banquet (pictured left). Through the Dutch Meyer Scholarship more than $60,000 in scholarship assistance was awarded to 17 children of Letterwinners in 2014-15.

Finally, the Lettermen’s Legacy Endowment Fund (LLEF) has continued to grow. The LLEF is an annual revenue stream to preserve our associations past, present and future. The LLEF balance is up to $190,000 and growing. This year’s annual payout was more than $9,000.

CAPITAL GIVING On November 8, 2013, TCU’s Board of Trustees met to review funding commitments for the renovation of Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. As a result of a comprehensive six-month campaign, more than $45 million in support was raised for the project, prompting Trustees to approve the renovation and set an ambitious construction schedule into motion. Led by Ed and Rae Schollmaier’s $10 million founding pledge, more than 150 donors and friends of TCU Athletics joined in to rapidly make the new Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena a reality. Work has already begun on what will be the state-of-the-art home of TCU Women’s and Men’s Basketball, offering new locker rooms

and sports medicine areas for both programs. Other additions include a massive 10,000 square foot TCU Athletics Hall of Fame that will greet fans upon entry and celebrate all of TCU’s 21 sports programs. New, wider concourses will be home to enhanced fan amenities and improved restrooms and concession areas. Also included are new offices for Olympic sports, administration and a Fan Service Center that will become the home to the TCU Ticket office and TCU Frog Club. The completion for the new $72 million arena, which will become the new “Front Porch of TCU Athletics,” is late fall of 2015.

In the spring of 2015, the Robert and Maria Lowdon Track Complex saw the completion of the renovation project that began last fall. The improvements include permanent seating, that was made possible through the estate of Agnes C. Talley, an observation area, necessary to hold major track and field events, as well as a press box. These renovations will ensure TCU puts its best foot forward when the facility hosts the 2016 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Construction has begun on a new Horned Frogsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; locker room, classroom, team lounge, sports medicine center, equipment room, alumni baseball locker room and coachesâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; offices. The new facility will be located down the left-field line. A new video board will also be in place for next season. All work will be completed in time for the 2016 campaign.
